In addition to" REC", "MIC", and "Wi-Fi", two new LED indicators: "PWR" and "GPS" have been added on the front panel to help drivers easily catch the status of the cam and the functions enabled.

This VIOFO dashcam offers three advanced parking to help you capture full evidence during parking.

Auto Event Detection:

Automatically record for 45s when detecting moving objects or impacts during parking. Optimized with a buffered function, its 45s video recording starts 15 seconds before and ends 30 seconds after the detected event.

Time Lapse Recording:

Record a video at low frames at 1/2/3/5/10 fps and compress it into a log file.

Low Bitrate Recording:

Record videos continuously at a low bitrate of 4MB/s with audio recorded.

[Intelligent Voice Notification]

The VIOFO A229 supports multiple spoken languages to clearly and quickly inform you of setting changes or memory card errors, allowing you to stay fully up-to-date and fully focused on the road with the camera on.

[Static (Windshield) Stickers]

Designed for rental, carshare, and fleet vehicles, the static sticker is a transparent film that adheres to the windshield using static electricity, offering a budget-friendly alternative for a suction mount. When using the static sticker, it also acts as a barrier between the 3M sticky tape and the glass thus avoiding sticky residuals and marks should you need to uninstall the dash cam.

[Built-in GPS Logger]

The GPS logger is a built-in function in the A229 Duo to track the route data, speed, and time and overlay it on the video files. Real-time speed would display on the car camera screen in either km/h or mp/h. It will also keep the dash camera's clock synchronized with GPS time.
