[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit I purchased must have been defective. I plugged it into my computer and it could not be formatted. I assumed it just wasn't seated properly, so I hit the eject button, unplugged it, and noticed it was quite warm... almost hot, which worried me. I plugged it back in, this time directly into my pc instead of my dock and made sure it was completely seated. I tried to format again. No luck. I tried once more for good measure, and still no luck. When I went to take it out again, it was EXTREMELY hot. Hot enough where now 45 minutes after the incident I can still feel where my thumb made contact with it while removing it (though there is no visible burn). I ended up returning it immediately and getting a regular USB A flash drive, which is working fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flash drive was bought so I could transfer my photos from my phone to this jump drive, I had so many on my phone it was taking up to much storage space, so this has helped clean up my phone and save my photos should something happen to my phone or I lose it. I'm a senior so I needed something easy that I could understand and manage, with this you just plug one end into your phone and the other end into your computer and move the pictures. great device for me and priced reasonable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact, sturdy, and worked exactly how we needed it to. Great price, too! It was only $2 more than the one half its size, so we opted for the 128GB. It's a little hard to push in due to the way it can collapse into itself, but I'd rather have that than let the connector sit out all the time. We needed a Type-C to transfer a large amount of data from 2 laptops, and this did the job perfectly.

As I go to format it, it tells me its write protected. Now I have to go to the store because after trying to troubleshoot for 1 hour now, its defective. Im going to get a replacement and will update my review if allowed. Stop sending defective things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this device for the iPad Pro to add more memory capacity. But in trying to use it the C Flash drive would get so hot that it would almost burn my fingers when I would unplug it from my iPad Pro. It would also loose what was stored on it as well. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for a regular USB drive and have been very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tab used to push out the USB connector can be a little difficult to handle, but it can also be left open if it proves too hard to regularly use. The read light is helpful but may not be visible depending on which direction the device is inserted. The device is a little long but the added handle for hanging it from a key fob or strap is useful.

Took a star off because the mechanism to push the USB-C out and inward of the casing is poorly built for the item I received. I would have to push against the other side of the USB when plugging it into a computer, otherwise the USB side will get pushed back into the casing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not believe the claim that this drive is usb 3.0 I've used it for a few days now and the transfer speed has been as fast as 31MB a second and as slow as 20MB a second. That slow speed is USB 2.0 territory and the fast speed is pretty slow for USB 3.0. I would highly recommend looking at other options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in a time pinch and needed to get a relatively large file to a friend. I looked for the cheapest USB flash drive Best Buy had in stock. I saw this one and even though it wasn't the cheapest I knew from personal experience that is was a reliable and dependable product.
