Designed to mount beside (or to) a residential load center/disconnect, it helps reduce high-energy voltage spikes that can damage appliances and sensitive equipment that aren’t connected to plug-in surge strips.

Built for 120/240V AC single-phase, 3-wire systems with isolated ground, this Type 1 SPD delivers 80kA surge current per phase and 25kA SCCR, providing strong first-line surge suppression at the panel where it matters most. A NEMA 4X enclosure supports indoor or outdoor installation, and an LED status indicator makes it easy to confirm protection at a glance.

The HEPD80C is designed to be compatible with most brand residential load centers, and installation is typically done through a standard knockout connection (1/2" NPT nipple connection is supported per the installation guide).
