- Good budget noise canceling headphones- May 8, 2020
Sony is a good product when it comes to sound and they do compete well with companies like Beats, JBL and Bose. These headphones are pretty good and the sound bass is good. Here is the thing about this headphones in order to hear the good quality of these headphones you need one AAA battery and the reason for that is it gives it power for the noise canceling experience and good bass, you can still hear without the battery but it is HIGHLY recommended and it does have a switch when you want to turn on and off the bass and that is the reason why these headphones are budget friendly. Also note these headphones are NOT wireless they are wired.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Good for the price- November 10, 2017
For $40 or so, I can't see how one could do much better. These are described as over-the-ear but they are definitely on-ear, though not really a problem for me. They are more than large enough for my huge Scottish melon, so no problem there either. I like how they fold up for travel. With the noise cancelling function engaged, one can tell the headphones definitely are filtering out background noise to some extent, but I tried a pair of $250 Bose phones and could easily, and not surprisingly, tell the difference. I wore these on a plane and, with the volume at about 70%, I could hardly hear the engine noise. The sound quality is adequate.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great low end noise canceling headphones- September 6, 2019
Overall you get what you pay for. While these headsets are sturdy, the lack of cushion for the head makes it somewhat not ideal for using hours on end. I wish they could add a bit of padding for the head. Ear padding is nice and sufficient but headphones do not cover fully ears. Noise canceling feature is fine - it is not the best but again you get what you pay for. You can use the headphones if batteries run out obviously without noise canceling. Overall - great starter set for people who need to use on planes or limited time settings. Otherwise if used consistently for longer periods of time perhaps invest in slightly more comfortable set.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
