• The booster is passive and omnidirectional so you don’t have to worry about it drawing battery life, or needing to be pointed in a specific direction to work.

• The booster is easily installed courtesy of the 15-foot cable and attached mounting bracket. The booster still relies on being able to access the available network in the area the camera is being used. Adding a booster to a camera with no service will not make cellular service appear, but it can improve strength of available network signal in the area. If you have cameras in an area where your network signal is marginal or unreliable, consider adding a CA-01 signal booster from SPYPOINT to improve network performance.

• It may even be wise to keep a booster on hand even if you don’t expect to need it. Putting cameras in new places can lead to signal variance you didn’t expect, and being able to install the camera with the booster instead of waiting can you time and trips.
