10-Fold Speed
- February 20, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have Xfinity Internet Services and I was originally only receiving 10mbps worth of speeds. With this adapter though, I am getting 100mbps+ speeds. It has a really easy setup, which is plug-in, install driver, and go.

Great signal strength and awesome connectivity
- April 8, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Archer C2600 in our sister office which has two computers, a server and a network all-in-one printer. They just got broadband hooked up but the installation only included the modem. We had to supply our own router. The Archer C2600 was perfect since it is a dual router offering both wired and wireless connectivity. Installation was extremely easy. Just follow the illustrated sheet. It is sleek and stylish looking with 4 very large antennas. I really like how the LED lights are barely visible. You can even turn them off in the settings menu. The router's interface setting menu is easy to use. It has great features such as parental controls, QoS (prioritizing devices), guest account just to name a few. The router has two USB ports. I attempted to setup a network printer but a heck of a time. The printer showed up on the router device map but even after downloading the TP-Link USB Printer Controller Utility it still would not print. I than attempted to make the printer a local printer again and it would not work. I finally figured out I had to uninstall the USB Printer Control Utility program then everything went back to normal. The printer I was trying to install was an HP 4050N, so it was an antique. I will give the router the benefit of the doubt and maybe the printer driver was just too out of date. You can see in the attached pictures the printer was recognized. The Archer C2600 has superior signal strength. Pretty much throughout the open layout office all mobile devices had full bars. I also had to buy a switch to add more Ethernet cables and there was or lag or decrease in speed. If you are looking for an easy to connect dual router that offers great signal strength, awesome connectivity and able to take on the mass amount of wireless devices - the TP-Link Archer C2600 is for you.

It's Okay For The Price
- December 1, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Archer T4U V2 AC1300 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter *My Test Setup Desktop PC Windows 10 Pro USB 3.0 Port *Wired & Wireless Performance I tested the Archer T4U V2 plugged into a USB 3.0 port on my desktop computer. I ran several speed tests with the adapter plugged in the USB 3.0 port by itself, and while using the included USB 3.0 extension cable. The extension cable had no effect at all on performance. Speed tests were the same with or without. My Internet Plan: Download 75 Mbps / Upload 10 Mbps 2.4 GHz Speed Test: Download 78.51 Mbps / Upload 12.12 Mbps 5 GHz Speed Test: Download 90.37 Mbps / Upload 12.16 Mbps. As you can see, those are great results. However, I have experienced an occasional brief loss of connection while streaming HD content, but for the most part, it has performed decently. Note: When you first plug in the adapter, Windows will install its own generic driver. Before I installed the latest driver from TP-Link’s website, I was getting terrible results on the 5 GHz band. After installing the latest driver from TP-Link, the adapter performs much better. So for the absolute best performance, you MUST install the latest driver from TP-Link’s website. *My Thoughts The adapter offers decent performance, especially after the driver update. I do have concerns about it’s build quality, though. It’s made of plastic and doesn't feel very durable in hand. As long as you aren't frequently plugging it in and unplugging it, it should be fine. It would have been nice if TP-Link would have made it out of metal, or at least a harder plastic. I have USB thumb drives that feel better made than this. Also, it's too bulky to use in a USB port by itself when neighboring USB port(s) are occupied. Thankfully TP-Link includes an extension cable to remedy this. And some may find the bright, flashing green LED to be a distraction, especially in a dark room. Other than those few concerns, it’s inexpensive and performs decently.

Great Router
- March 18, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of a free product received by TP-LINK as part of the review program. This router was easy to set up and use. It took less than five minutes to get this up and running. This is a great router to have if you have multiple devices connecting to it for Wi-Fi because it supports all the devices without taking a hit on streaming or downloading. I can stream movies and play Xbox live at the same time without any lag. The dual band technology and beam forming technology will give you great coverage all throughout your house, keeping you connected to the internet no matter where you are inside. The router comes with 4 antennas that can be adjusted if needed.

Great fast router
- March 11, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very easy router to configure. I was up and running in less than 5 minutes on my Verizon FIOS network. I like the Mulit-user MIMO technology as I can run multiple devices simultaneously without any performance hits on my streaming. The beamforming technology is also an added bonus with the router. I get my full 50 up and 50 down with the speed tests and it shows when downloading files. The TP-LINK tether app is also nice as you can manage your network right through the app. Highly recommended for someone who is looking for a reasonable priced router with great performance. Excellent product but rather bulky
- June 29, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this at my job to gain Internet access for a PC that runs a National Instruments PXI system. This adapter has proven an excellent buy. We use it in the USB 3.0 ports on the PC, and it has done wonderfully. We get Internet access with very little lag. My only issue is the size of this thing. Well, considering its capabilities and performance, this is not really something to complain about, but you may have to do peripheral and cable management to work around it. Still, it performs excellently. The setup was easy, although there is a disk involved, which may be an issue for people without a CD drive. You can download the drivers online, however. All in all, I recommend this product.

The Little USB Adapter That Could - And Does
- February 18, 2023[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plug-and-Play with minimal installation. I would have given it only 3 stars because of my initial frustration: It kept randomly dropping its WiFi connection with my router - only 7 feet across an open room. When I did get it to connect by using the Troubleshooter, the signal was strong and the Down/Up speeds were excellent - better than advertised by my ISP. I'm giving it 5 stars because TP-Link issued a new driver a week after I bought it and it hasn't dropped the router connection since. The WiFi signal is stronger. The Down/Up speeds are a tick higher.

Good upgrade from the C9
- March 21, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of a free product received by TP-LINK as part of the review program. I previously used a TP-Link Archer C9, which I was perfectly happy with. I've been using the C2600 for a couple of weeks now, and have had zero issues so far. Signal strength on 2.4 and 5ghz reaches farther than the C9, and is more stable at distance. Setup was easy, just like the C9... very simple, yet has advanced options for the power user. A quality product that doesn't look like a spaceship and delivers on performance and stability.. a win for me.

Super easy set up and works great!
- August 12, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy installation with very little time needed. My Mac is located one floor above where the router is located (opposite ends of the house) but I see full bars on Wifi status. I see no difference in browsing speed between my mac using this device and other wirelessly connected devices (tablet, laptops, and phones). It is a bit bigger than what I expected especially when the antenna portion is in open position (L-shape), but no more than normal USB flash drive of about 2 inches long. I recommend this unit.

Good usb wifi device
- December 18, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I like the fact that this is a slim and sleek design. Overall I think this device does provide some value and I've actually used it less for laptop use as opposed to a home server I have that doesn't have wifi built in to the PC. As most laptops have dual band wifi these days you may not need a device like this unless your pc has an older wifi module. However if you don't, this could be for you. Overall it performed as expected given the speeds. Submitted as part of a free sample program.
