[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe this serves as a notice to save someone else from a mistake. I was converting old Sony videocamera tapes to DVD via a VCR/DVD converter. I bought these but wasn't aware of the difference in the disks. Still am not -- but I found these didn't work. I needed DVD+R (not DVD-R). Made all the difference. But easy to return and got the right ones.

It is nice to be able to write on these discs to know what was recorded on them. The quality is excellent and we like the colors of the discs......easy to see when you have a vision problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are O.K. It's just that I would prefer to have solid grey so that I can use a DVD writing pen to see clearly what I have written on the disk. If I had known, I would have opted for solid grey. The labeling where it says 'color DVDs' is covered by a Styrofoam packing peanut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality Verbatim offering - I've only had to burn video files to five discs thus far but I haven't, as expected, encountered any issues. I've used Verbatim CD-R and CD-RW discs in the past with no problems and this pack of DVD-R discs is living up to my expectations.

I took a video (around 3.5 gb in disk) with gopro and most of my friends asked for a hard copy. So I decided to burn them. Surprisingly all 25 worked!!!! No disk errors! It's very cheap and high quality!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to transfer almost 100 VHS tapes to DVD. I had tried 3 other brands of blank DVD, but had about 40% failure rate. Finally used the Verbatim DVD blanks, and it worked! After almost 40, have had 100% success. Does what it promised; can't ask for more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had read reviews about verbatim and i heard they were good. also they were highly recommended from my standalone dvd recorder so i went with it. glad i did...they've been wonderful and i like the shade of blue they used. I will recommend to friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does not work. I attempted to burn a copy of my vacation video I made with my phone. It did not work I can play the disc on the computer I burned it on. But not on any other computer or system in the house. Waste of money and time
