Verbatim - Life Series 16x DVD-R Discs
- July 3, 2022[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used DVD-R discs before, so I don't know to compare them to other types or brands of DVD-R discs. The discs arrived on time. Nothing was damaged and the discs work well.

Rarely a bad burn with these discs. Very reliable.
- September 3, 2019[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now buy these exclusively over the cheaper "bargain" discs. Have had too many defective burns whenever I've used the cheaper discs. Threw so many bad burns on cheaper discs away they really didn't save me money. And I wasted my time making those bad burns, and used up some of my burner's lifespan on them. I rarely get a bad burn with these discs and don't have to worry if the burn will come out alright; it almost always does. And how much is that sort of peace of mind worth? At least the small difference in price between these and the so called "bargain" discs to me. A great product for the money.

Do not buy into the Life Series!
- June 30, 2010[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Life Series is Verbatim's cheapest method of getting blank DVDs out. These DVDs, with the White Labels, do not carry the AZO dye or logo that you normally see on the label. The media code for these DVD-Rs is "CMC MAG AM3." These are very poor quality, had lots of issues attempting to burn and read, and the data most likely will not last. The original DVD-R DVDs media code that could be found on the previous Orange and Blue labels was "MCC 03RG20." The Orange and Blue labels are top of the line. It is a shame that they are now moving into the terrible Life Series installment.

My preferred blank media.
- September 28, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most reliable discs in their price range that I've used. I've purchased discs slightly cheaper, but gotten enough bad disc burns and had to throw enough of them away that they really weren't saving me money in the long run. Plus the waste of the extra time re-burning discs that hadn't burned right the first time proved to me even further that using a lower priced product just wasn't worth it. These discs are very reliable and are worth every penny.

Good dics, but a bit overpriced
- August 10, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are blank DVDs for putting movies, shows, computer files, etc. on them, and they work well for that purpose. Interestingly, even though the supposed time limit of the discs is 120 minutes, Windows 7 sees them as having 150 minutes of space for movies or music or whatever on them. They discs work fine, but they are priced higher than it would be for the same amount at other stores, so it might be worth it to shop around for them.

Most Reliable Blank DVD I've Found
- May 7, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these DVDs for years with very few inadvertant "coasters" being produced along the way. At first I tried different brands, but these Verbatim DVD-R disks were the ones that gave me the least headaches. They work wonderfully for achiving photos, music or any one files you want to preserve. I backed up all my old (VHS) home videos of the kids with these disks giving me no problems.

Great Disc
- June 1, 2010[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Verbatim disc for years and seldom get a bad copy. They are of consistenly excellent quality. The disc dye is even and to the edges. They produce superior picture and sound quality. They are compatible with up to 16x hardware. Verbatim also offers a warranty and will replace the disc at no cost to you if found defective. Great Disc!

Convenient way to record TV programs.
- November 7, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Verbatrim DVDs are blank discs that allow me to record certain shows I might like to keep. Whether a great sporting event such as the just-completed World Series; or perhaps filming a family event before transferring the images and sounds for family members to also relive that special family time. I appreciated the low price, too.

DVDs work for writing to from ol, cables work fine
- January 7, 2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked around to make sure these DVDs would work with the Toshiba DVR 620KU I recently purchased. The saleman in the store carefully looked up my machine and the DVDs to ensure they were compatible and would allow the DVDs to be read by both computer and regular DVD player. The cables were are inexpensive and work fine.

No "Duds" so far
- April 2, 2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually you will find a few discs that won't burn especially on the less expensive brands but so far I haven't had any that won't burn or play. Bought them while on sale and no complaints so far. I do wish the light-scribe discs would make a come back as I miss being able to add my personal touch to the disc.
