[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With external hard drives, flash drives and other media becoming more available and dropping in price, using DVD's may seem to be an outdated way to store or share data. I will admit that I use a lot less DVD's than I used to, but they still have their place. For me, they are still a good media for permanent storage (backups in particular), and for sharing smaller amounts of data with others. At only pennies a disc, it's so much cheaper than the other types of media. I've been using this brand for a while, and I can't remember the last time I encountered a bad disc. It's always good to have a few DVD's on hand, and this brand is dependable and affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought four of these 100-pack Verbatim 52x CD-R Discs. The first three worked reasonably well with only a random disc that did not write well and could not be read without error. However, the most recent 100=pack (purchased a week ago) NEARLY HALF the discs don't write properly and can't be read or ripped. I'm not sure what changed or if this is a defective batch, but they are more trouble than they're worth; it takes TOO MUCH TIME to consistently re-write the same data to another disc and then discover that it, too, can't be accurately read.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dont even bother buying these. I literally thought my cd burner broke because all of the disks were defective. I bought Sony disks and the burning continued just fine. Its not worth saving a few dollars. Do not be cheap or desperate like I was at the time. I just didnt want to wait to order them because no one sells these anymore. Order from the website and get Memorex or Sony instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having trouble burning CD-R disk on my PC. The drive was new and I had multiply issues with another name brand disc. After reading plenty of positive reviews of the Verbatim brand, I decided to take a chance. So far, it has paid off. While I haven't gone through the entire spindle, every one that I have used worked flawlessly. I would definitely recommend the Verbatim brand.

I use it for CD recordings of music with a professional CD recorder TASCAM that I have and it never fails to finalize the CD as other brands fail to do so. And I was also advised to use VERBATIM by TASCAM technical team. It's also dependable with computer back up files at all times.

I have NEVER had one problem with Verbatim's CD's or DVD's. Very dependable and high quality products with a reasonable price. I would certainly recommend Verbatim products to anyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to compile an assortment of music to play in my car while driving however our New Mexico heat is hard on CDs when kept in a vehicle so rather than damaging my original disks I copy my favorite songs onto these and then when they warp or start skipping I simply toss them out and burn new copies. On sale they were an economical choice for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most would think go with the best deal for blank media, but i have purchased a number of these stacks from various companies and always end up throwing away a good amount b/c they will not burn properly... not these! i havent had a single error with these, not one so far is scratched up from the factory! great value, and great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, I still have a need to make CDs. Not everyone uses thumb drives and passing on a huge amount of files is then best done with CDs. Verbatim has been around "forever" and has always made a quality CD. That has not changed. No problem with these and the price is right. If you still need CDs don't hesitate to get these.
