I bought this monitor for my brother who is a wedding photographer. One the pain points for him was editing photos on the computer and then the turnout on print is entirely different. I've used many viewsonics before and so I took a dive on their new professional 4k monitors. Resolution and color is great and I can see he's having a better time at editing his photos.

Could not get it to work with a mid-2010 Mac Pro, even with the included Display Port-to-mini Display Port cable included. That Mac Pro does not support HDMI, so could not test that. Returned it and bought an Asus with dual link DVI, which works beautifully.

This is a great monitor. I especially like the way the monitor can be adjusted. I wished it had a camera on it. I had to purchase a separate camera. The monitor requires a HDMI cable to be connected to the desktop and that is not included with the monitor.
