This is an updated version of our old VTech cordless phone. The last one lasted for years and when the time came to replace it we were pleased to see this one which had almost all the same things as our last one with the exception of the hands free speaker which is why we didn't give it 5 stars. Unlike Motorola you can hear the messages as they are coming in so if you are screening telemarketers or someone else it's great. Also you can delete messages right from the base unit with the touch of a button unlike the other company mentioned. We were fortunate enough to get this one on sale as well which made the decision easier.

Large buttons, easy to dial.. Screen is difficult to read, no speaker but I knew that... Menu is easy to use as well as the answering machine.. I am in a wheelchair so the remote is in my bedroom & the main handset charges overnight... Has the range to activate my remote buzz system at my apartment... Price was also a very good consideration!!! It was delivered quickly...

Needed new phones and the V-tech 2 handset works great.

I bought it because there was a 5 star rating, maybe it was the manufacturer who rated it. Phone is crap. There is a delay in dialing, it feels cheap. You get what you pay for with this one.

Really does the job. Have no complaints.
