[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drive is very thin and light, perfect for traveling in a small laptop bag. It is fast. I get 1000MB/s with it connected to a fast USB C 3.2 port on either my laptop or my desktop. I use it to transfer files between my desktop and my laptop - mostly photos and videos. I also use it to do backups of my laptop. I like it so much that I bought a second one. I got them at a great sale price!

Bought this instore, but when opened and checked it with WD Utilities, it came up as defective, so took it back. Did not want to risk a replacement, but instead of taking it back and giving me a refund, Bestbuy refused. Finally agreed to give me a credit, which I really could not use. Looks like Bestbuy does not stand behind defective products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past year I have purchased multiple storage drives for my content creation needs. The most recent were 2 of these SSD 2TB Drives. I think they're great. The best part about the SSD is that you don't have a constant moving hard disk like the HDD making these much faster for data transfer and less noisy with the humm and vibration of a HDD. They also come with the software already programmed into the SSD so no need to go an find a specific program and download. The downside to this is that the programs are now obsolete and have been replaced with a new software which you will have to go and find and download. Otherwise these drives are awesome just wish they weren't so expensive.
