<p>Screen legends Cary Grant and Myrna Loy fly high in the intense adventure Wings in the Dark. When ace aviator Ken Gordon (Grant) develops a device that would allow pilots to fly blind, the government refuses a test permit. In an ironic twist of fate, Ken loses his own vision in an explosion when preparing for a trial run after being encouraged by skywriting stunt flyer Sheila Mason (Loy). Unaware she is paying his bills, Ken dismisses Sheila's affections as pity and lives as a sullen recluse.
