What are the latest Fitbit smartwatch models?

Fitbit is one of the top smartwatch brands with exciting options like the Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 3, and Fitbit Versa 2.

All three have large, square faces for viewing workout stats, time, and daily data like steps, 24/7 heart rate, calories burned, active minutes, sleep quality and duration, and more. Choose from a variety of watch faces and band colours and do things like initiate a workout or even follow an animated one on screen. They display notifications from a connected smartphone, can play music, deliver breathing exercises to reduce stress, and, with the Sense, conduct skin temperature, stress sensing (even giving you a Stress Score), and ECG measurements.

All three work with both Android and iOS devices and the Fitbit app where you can see progress and summaries daily and over time, join challenges with friends, and access and queue up workouts and mindfulness exercises.

What features do you get with a Fitbit smartwatch?

All three of these Fitbit smartwatches offer 24/7 activity tracking, monitor your heart rate 24/7 (including resting heart rate), provide detailed Sleep Scores, track exercises from running and walking to treadmill, rowing, and swimming (they are all waterproof), and advise when you reach different heart rate zones.

The Versa 3 and Fitbit Sense has built-in GPS so you can go for a run, hike, or cycle and track your route while your phone is at home. With the Versa 2, you can still do this via connected GPS and your phone in tow. They can measure Sp02 blood oxygen saturation and female menstrual health, too. The Sense and

Versa 3 also work with Google Assistant and Alexa, and let you accept calls from your connected phone thanks to an on-board mic and built-in speaker.

All three offer an approximately 6+ day rated battery life, so you'll only need to charge them about once per week.

Which Fitbit is right for you?

All three Fitbit smartwatches measure daily workouts, count steps, and keep a record of things like bicycle routes, heart health, sleep, and calorie burn. To get the most holistic picture, splurge for the Sense, which adds features like the EDA stress and skin temperature sensors. A Fitbit Premium subscription is required for some details, like a Daily Readiness Score and access to certain workouts, but each smartwatch comes with a trial period to try it out first.

If you're on a tight budget, the Versa 2 is the most affordable of the three but still has the most important sensors. If you have more to spend, the newer Versa 3 adds features like a speaker and mic and built-in GPS and might be worth opting for instead.

Note that Fitbit has a wide selection of health and wellness trackers, too, like the new Charge 5. These have smaller rectangular screens but still pack tons of features so are worth considering as well.
