The Messerschmitt Me410 was a German heavy fighter and fast bomber used during World War II. Known as the "Hornisse" (Hornet), the Me410 was developed as a more advanced successor to the Me210. It was equipped with powerful armament options, including the U2 variant fitted with additional 20mm cannons for anti-bomber operations, and the U4 variant featuring a 50mm BK5 cannon for destroying heavily armored targets. Despite its impressive firepower, the Me410 faced challenges from more agile Allied fighters but still saw action in defense of the Reich and against Allied bomber formations.
