Over 100 years ago, a meteorite known as the "Moon Dragon" struck a tropical resort area.

Most of the inhabitants died, but those who survived were transformed into strange mutants...

The rescue mission was quickly halted, and the mutated people created a small, isolated community called the Mutazione.

Now, as Kai, a 15-year-old girl, you travel to Mutazione to care for your critically ill grandfather.

But things aren't as easy as they seem...

Nonno offers Kai another option, the secrecy and betrayal simmering beneath the friendly community, and the terrifying bird-like shadow that continues to appear in Kai's dreams.

They survived the meteorite that destroyed the world, but will they survive the story that unfolds in this small town?
