When paired with the Bose Soundbar this delivers a fantastic punch and significantly improves the overall experience and sound quality. Setup was a doddle after having already configured the Bose app for use with the Soundbar. Simply set the app to scan mode and it will detect the Bass module and that's it and with only one power cable to plug in it couldn't be easier. The look and feel of the speaker is as you would expect from Bose and really looks the part. A perfect partner for the soundbar!

I have had my Bose Bass Module for about a week. It was packaged perfectly so it arrived safe. The set up was fairly easy. The manual led you to download the app and connect through wifi and Bluetooth. This process was seamless. Now I listen to my music and I love the bass. I can literally feel the floor vibrating! I love it. I have had other sound systems and companions, but this by far, used along with the Bose Soundbar 500 gives me optimal, booming, audio enjoyment. Its the perfect size and it sits right behind my couch, so discrete. This is the perfect companion for the Bose Soundbar.

Upgraded from a Sony HT-Z9F - I had always felt the subwoofer for this Sony soundbar didn't have the power and accuracy like this Bose. I have it synced with my Bose 600 soundbar and it really transformed the experience. You must have the Bose app installed to sync with your sound bar.

There is ko complain with This bass module, but the bose app is very pathetic !!! Almost restarted 5 - 6 time during initial connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the open box Bose 500 module to add to my existing living room audio setup of bose smart soundbar 600 and bose surround speakers. The open box product was in excellent condition and it was a steal for the price I paid, at almost 50% off the full retail price! The module paired seamlessly with my bose soundbar within minutes. I placed the sub around in a few places in the room to test out the best placement before I decided on where it suits best. The app controls are pretty great. It has a lot of oomph considering the price I paid for it. Vert happy with the purchase.

Wow. Music hasn’t sounded so good in our household. We have this connected to the Bose 500 sound bar, the sound quality, supported by the bass module is absolutely fantastic! I found the set up easy via the app, once the soundbar was connected it was a few simple clicks to connect the bass module which was instantly discovered. The amazing thing with both the sound bar and bass module is that they can now do it all - play our music using Alexa and provide an incredible experience when watching movies and sport! Super impressed, as have our family and friends been. It looks very sleek too and neatly slots in with our furniture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried both the Bose 700 and the Bose 500 Subwoofers, yes there’s more boom from the 700, but honestly I had to keep that on 20 to stop it from over powering the bar. With the 500 I keep it on 40 and it has as much distortion free boom as the 700 at 20. So, save the money and buy the smaller sub as it has plenty of punch for a 20 x 15 room and you can use the extra $200 to $300 on the higher end rear channel speakers. I am much more impressed with my open box Bose 900 and this Sub than I was the Sonos Arc and the JBL Bar 9.1 would have been the better solution for the money, but that has an audio popping problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s proving to be well worth the price I paid for it. I got it on Black Friday and haven’t had one for years. I wanted to go with the 700 but the price was double. The quality of bass can be slightly questionable in some circumstances but it’s not bad by any means. I can hear it from upstairs even when the volume is fairly low depending on what’s playing, so that’s something to consider. But I do recommend at this price point giving it a shot. I use it with my Bose 500 Soundbar and it syncs effortlessly. It’s also a plus that unlike the 700, it doesn’t collect fingerprints because it’s not a glass top.

The Boss Base Module is awesome. It delivers outstanding bass and pure sounds. Coming from a small box. The packaging is some of the beat I have seen with any product. Easy to unpack and quick, wireless set up made this a delightful addition to the Bose 500 Soundbar. This perfect Module took my music and movie watching to a brand new level as you can feel the emotions and impact calmly. The design of the Module is awesome as well. Well compact, easily blends in wherever you places it without taking up alot of space. Bose has done it again by creating a magnificent bass module that delivers superb sound quality and takes the dynamics of your television, movie watching and music listening to a prestigious level you can only expect from a Bose product. Hats off to you Bose for an awesome creation which is beautifully designs and definitely delivers pure, crystal clear base and sounds the human ear would miss using any other equipment outside of Bose.
