I wish I could wait a year before writing a review, or even 5 years (although I realize that would not be helpful for obvious reasons) because the real test of a machine is how it stands up over time. After producing 15 perfect loaves of bread, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. I was disappointed that the machine does not have 2 paddles for bread, but it does quite a good job in spite of this. I will be interested to see how the collapsible paddle stands up over time. Normally I just use the machine to make dough, but if I am in a hurry I will use it to bake and the collapsible paddle does a fairly good job. The hole it leaves doesn't totally ruin the bread as in other machines. I especially enjoyed the recipe for sun dried tomato and feta cheese recipe that came with the instruction manual, even though it did not include the quantity of yeast to be used. :) I was able to easily find this information online. All in all, I am enjoying my machine very much and would recommend it. We have several Breville appliances and they have all served us well.

We are loving the simplicity of using this bread maker, it is hubby’s new toy. Every loaf has worked out to be delicious and can’t wait to try making other things with it like pizza and pasta dough

I bought this BBM 800 from appliances online with a bit of experimenting i have the perfect Custom settings & recipe for 750gr Wholemeal Bread Setting: Custom - Wholewheat Crust Medium Loaf Size 0.75kg Preheat Temp- 20 c Preheat Time 30 min Knead 1- 10 mins Knead 2- 20 mins Rise Temp 32c Rise 1 - 45 mins Punch Down 1-120 secs Rise 2- 35 mins Punch Down 2- 0 Rise 3- 0 Bake Time 45 mins Bake Temp 150c Keep Warm 0 Recipe: Add to Bread Pan in this order. 295ml water (1 cup + 3 tbs) 1& half tbs sugar 1tsp salt 2 tsp white vinegar 2 tbs oil 450gr wholemeal plain flour* 1tsp Bread Improver 1 sachet dry yeast Put Bread Pan in & press start. When cooked let bread go completely cool before slicing. * I use Coles Supermarket Wholemeal Plain Flour Unbleached.

I’ve always been a hands on bread maker but never considered a bread machine that could do more would be worthwhile As it turns out I was wrong The Custom Loaf Pro is above and beyond just a bread machine it also makes dough for pizza …perfectly easy while prepping the toppings Pasta dough too can be made and it’s silken smooth just the way it should be Then there’s the jam setting for, dare I say it the bread you’ve made earlier or the English Muffin Loaf your about to make, that said I’d never been able to make an EML in a bread machine before but the Custom Loaf Pro made it with such ease (it’s a batter style yeast dough not your trad bread dough) and was, dare I say it, better than ever before So looking forward to our next loaf but deciding which that will be is the tough thing and that’s certainly not the bread it makes

Love the functions and the ease of use, we make a large loaf daily and it so simple to set and forget. The only minor thing that I dont like is the foldable blade - yes it leaves less of a hole in the bread once baked, but it can be difficult to clean and the dough gets caught in the moveable parts. Otherwise excellent machine

I bought this four days ago. I am very used to breadmakers. I have made five loaves and they are all basically awful! If the next one is not OK I shall contact the supplier and ask for a refund. I have taken photographs and made the loaves exactly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Not happy

Makes the best bread! Bread you buy at the groceries or Costco cannot hold a candle.

Lots of programs, easy to use.

This bread maker is fantastic. It makes beautiful loaves every time. The collapsible paddle is very handy. I always remove the paddle after the second rise (when the machine beeps) so I get a perfect loaf of bread with no large hole in the bottom. I love that I can silence the beeping sounds if I’m making a loaf at night. I also love how well it kneads the dough. I usually don’t need to scrape the sides of the tin during the initial kneading cycle. This bread machine was expensive, but worth every cent! It’s much quieter, sturdier and has a lot more features and functions than my old breadmaker. I’m so happy that I bought it.
