We’ve had this toaster for a little over 2 years, if that, and while it worked amazing at the start, by the end of the first year one side of element panels stopped working. We still found it useable by flipping the bread that was toasted on that side though it was inconvenient. Today the elements barely work at all. Toast comes out barely warm. Waffles are still cold to the touch. Very disappointing considering the cost.

I bought this toaster because I was tired of taking the toast out and turning it to try and get a slice of bread evenly. I only got this yesterday and I hope it is going through a breaking in stage because the toast so far is not good. I think it is worse than the three toasters I was replacing that cost a fraction of this. I've toasted 5 slices of bread and each one has had to be turned because of uneven toasting! The last slice was better than the first four but still not worth the price of this. If it does not improve pretty quick I will be exchanging it, hoping this toaster is a lemon. If it does improve I will submit another review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so it's a bit pricey… but it is entirely worth every penny! No worries about getting the toast to stay down like I had on my last machine. The lights would be too bright if they stayed on constantly, but they only appear when you adjust the settings or use the toaster and then completely turn off. By far though, the best feature is it's "A Bit More" setting. If your food isn't quite toasted enough, just press the a bit more button and it will literally only toast it a bit more. I can't tell you how many times in the past that if my toast wasn't toasted enough I'd go to retoast it and I'd burn it! Trust me, you'll love this thing! It's quite amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew this was a great toaster, but every now and then you get one that "acts up" and this one did. A thin bun was toasting. When it was done, the Breville would not move the bun up, and all the lights flashed. According to the instructions, this was due to a stuck piece of toast and is a safety feature to prevent fires. Good. Then we unplugged (as stated in the manual), but then the next day--same thing happened with a completely different bread. We returned that one and got another. The toasting is wonderfully even, on both sides, and the toaster is built like a tank, except ours had a tread missing or something. Anyway, would not hesitate to recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] maybe I was unlucky but one compartment would not heat up sufficiently to toast compared to the other side. if I upped the time to compensate, I burnt one slice. of course, with $100+ on the line, not interested in doing the slice shuffle. tried to get support from breville, I would have a better chance of holding back Niagara falls with teacup. back it goes and cannot recommend this toaster. overpriced and the quality control clearly off. NOTE: this issue has NOTHING to do with busy circuit. It had a circuit all to itself. this is about incompetence at breville and the audacity to price this thing more than $40.

Outer elements quit working after about thirty months, at the price point I would expect more.

Great Service,Purchased this toaster 6 months ago. Very pleased with the features and performance. Then It started having issues. I contacted Breville support and had a brand new toaster with-in Six Days. They took care of everything,including return shipping. The Best Service ever!!! You've earned a repeat customer!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this toaster. It looks great and stays pretty clean. It’s very easy to use and I found no issues with how it toasts. I’ve made various kinds of items including bagels, waffles, and everything from sourdough bread to 12 grain bread and it toasts just the right amount. I highly recommend this toaster.

We will not buy any other product. We have had Breville products over 8 years and have had NO issue with them. We care for them and never abuse them, and these appliances are world class in design and in construction. We have yet to replace any of them, they just keep going, and going, and going! We have made thousands of slices of toast through the years and Breville just continues to work and produce toasted favourites again and again and again! Thank you Breville for a extremely amazing toaster from its heavy duty construction, to its outstanding out up of toasted products.

Simply stated, it is an excellent product, worth the money. It is a solid, attractive, smart toaster. Easy to understand, makes great toast. This is the best toaster I have purchased to date. I have no reservations about recommending this counter top appliance, it is far above the field of many mediocre, ugly, cheaply made toasters. Ninety percent of current toasters are poor products with overly inflated marketing hype... a waste of money. Our new Breville is a five star product. Yes it is a bit pricey, but as far a I am concerned, it was worth the extra cost. it's a winner.
