This printer was one of the best purchases I've ever made. Laser printers are a whole lot more economical than the dot matrix kind and Brothers are extremely economical when it comes to ink cartridges and their replacements. I don't have the color option but then again color can be extremely expensive. These cartridges usually last me at least a year if not more.

It's by Brothers, a quality printer manufacturer, and that is good. It's very expensive, and that is bad. Reminds me of replaceable auto parts or razor blades. They have to fit to replace.. They do, and that is comforting.

I really love the printer because it is a no frills, black and white, quick and reliable laser printer. The toner is the toner. Things sometimes look like a photocopy, not sure why, but usually just fine
