[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased an EOS M3 and always like to have a spare battery. In the past I have bought aftermarket batteries that were cheaper, but in the long run they ended up not holding charges very long and I had to toss them - so now I only buy official batteries from the camera maker and never have problems with how much charge they hold or for how long. Yup, these are not cheap but if you need to rely on your camera working you should buy OEM batteries you can trust. Not worth trying to cut corners in camera battery cost.
