Ansel Faraj is accustomed to the swirling depths of light and darkness -- and all points in-between." -- Scary Monsters Magazine

The City of Lost Angeles. A decaying metropolis populated by masked killers and disfigured psychopaths. The only one who can stop them is Detective Adam Sera...a tough-as-nails private eye haunted by the gruesome death of his sister.
Acclaimed filmmaker Ansel Faraj (Doctor Mabuse) presents Detective Adam Sera, a new series in the style of gritty film noir classics and vintage "blood-and-thunder" pulp magazines. Drawing inspiration from Mike Hammer movies like Kiss Me Deadly (1955) and The Girl Hunters (1963), as well as the 'Batman' films of Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan, Faraj creates a world that is at once startlingly visceral, yet also...eerily familiar. Like in previous works Theatre Fantastique (2014-2017) and The Last Case of August T. Harrison (2015), the writer-director displays a keen awareness of cinematic history far beyond his years, homaging the classics while at the same time filtering them through his own unique sensibilities. Detective Adam Sera is classic film noir...circa 2018.
This DVD collects all 5 episodes from the Detective Adam Sera series.

Whatever Happened To Detective Adam Sera
Old Friend Origins
Under A Shroud Of Smoke
Copycat's Ladycat
The Long Dream Home
