There is a horizontal bar at the front below the seat. You need to pull the bar forward and it will release the seat. After releasing the seat just lift up and remove it from the scooter.

After removing the seat (you can see how to remove the seat above) the scooter can be folded and unfolded from the red latch on the left-hand side of the scooter. The small red latch is to unfold, and the big red latch folds the scooter.

You need the headlight to turn on/off the scooter. The key goes into the headlight to turn on/off. You can find the headlight in a small box in the scooter with 2 sets of keys. Please keep the keys in a safe place since these are the only keys to turn on/off the scooter and we are unable to produce new keys for your scooter. There is a screen on the headlight that you can see the remaining battery as well.

The scooter has a security hand brake, once you open it brand new from the box, the device brakes are applied, you will have to release the brake for the scooter to move forward or reverse. The brake is released by pushing on the small lever in front of the hand brake. If the brake is set loose and still wonโt go forward or reverse, then the issue could be technical. Once you order additionally, the rear basket already comes pre-installed. All that is needed is to put it right under the seat which has two small holes for you to stabilize it. Please swivel the DMX seat towards the front to be able to install the rear basket.
