[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BUYER BEWARE!!! 1st off: Will the mug keep your liquid warm/hot? - YES. 2nd: Can you adjust the temp to get your desired temp? - MAYBE? The point of having this mug is to be able to keep your liquid at a optimal temp for your use and this doesn't do that very well at all! The problem is the app not connecting to the mug no matter what you do. I have an Android phone - OnePlus 8T. The troubleshooting on the ember page walks you through turning off your Bluetooth and the app which neither helps or solves the issue. I will say the app installed onto my phone and worked the 1st time I tried it yesterday. This is day 2 and the app is not doing any thing except telling me it can't find my mug. I'm not going to try to uninstall/reinstall since that goes against the point of having convenience of the mug and app. The mug will continue to keep your liquid hot although there's no way to find out what temp it's being held at since the app doesn't work. I'm on the latest version of the app 3.4.1 and I'd recommend reading the Play Store reviews about this app since it's the MAIN FEATURE of having the mug. I want a refund and I'm telling all of my friends to stay away from this... I was going to buy the travel mug for a friend until this experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give this more like a 3.5 star. It definitely controls the temperature of the liquid you put into it but it does not make it warmer. So just be aware of that. I was expecting the coffee to be just a bit warmer and for longer. So I am not over-the-moon about it. But it is much better than just having your coffee continue to cool. However, I'm not feeling the value for the money. These things are not cheap. And the enamel in the bottom of mine has already started to come off just a bit. Not sure how that happened. I thought it was baked-on coffee, but it's the actual material that's rubbing off the inside of the cup. For $135 for a mug, I would have expected much better quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this for me since my coffee always gets cold especially when I am working. I work from home so sometimes I get busy and distracted and I dont get to my coffee quick enough. I wanted the bigger size as that is the type of cup I normally drink. The pros are that is definitely does what it says in keep your coffee warm. You have several different settings within the app to choose from on temp.level. It was extremely easy to hook up to the app and I havent had any issues since. Within the app you can check your battery level. Since I do work from home, I thought it would be best to just keep the cup on the charging pad, but I started noticing that the bottom of the cup started to become discolored. I was a bit worried that it was because I was charging and the heating element were being used too much together, so now I only charge when needed. I dont trust charging it while I am sleeping or gone with that discoloring. I have tried to wash it thinking it could be from something else, but it doesnt not come off. The biggest con is I do not think it keeps a battery life as long as it says. It does seem to lose battery quickly. It is also really hard to make sure it is off just by the press of the button. It seems to light up as soon as you pick it up or move it. The coffee does get an old taste if it has been sitting for a while just like it does in the coffee maker, like over cooked. I was hoping that wouldnt be the case. I use this cup every day during the week that I am working. The rest of the time I use regular cups. I think this would be ideal for someone who doesnt drink their coffee fast or gets distracted easily and comes back to cold coffee often. It is on the heavy side. Definitely bottom heavy as that is where the battery and heating element are. It must be hadn washed and dried quickly. You dont want to leave the bottom wet.

I just had a baby and my husband would leave my coffee on my nightstand and sometimes when I’d wake up, it was cold. When I came across the Ember I was stoked! Come to find out that the battery lasts like an hour. I did, however find a solution which is to leave the charging station by my nightstand some it’ll remain charging while on it!! So now I can wake up and have my coffee at my favorite temperature!! I love that I can control it through my phone and it alerts me when it’s reached my temperature and when it’s low on battery. You can also choose a light color, kinda like a mood ring!

I love how it gets my coffee to the perfect temperature how it stays that temperature thewout drinking it . I also love that it changes colors . It’s easily washable. Cools down quick and fits Nicely on my dresser . Highly recommend this cup ! Never going back to my normal ones again . I’m hooked being a huge coffee drinking this mug is my best friend to keep it nice and warm thewout my time drinking it !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite being purposefully careful to only use a plastic spoon to stir my coffee, the coating in the bottom started coming off. In my mind, that makes this a short lived product that is arguably the most expensive of it’s kind. Plus I now have to wonder if I drank that coating along with my coffee. This is sad, because other than this show stopping quality issue, this would be a great product.

I am a slow coffee drinker and therefore I’m constantly warming up my coffee in the microwave to get it back up to the temperature I prefer. This cup truly keeps my beverage at the same set temperature long enough for me to enjoy every last drop and at my pace! Love, love, love this cup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a collection of mugs that i dont even use anymore since i got this mug. I usually boil water and pour it in since i use instant coffee, and then just wait a little but until it comes down to my favorite temp. So far, its been great, 4 months in and I’m loving it. I will say i was concerned to see scratch marks at the base, I may have used abrasive sponge one day, but for everyone talking about the ceramic coating coming off of the base, that is covered by the manufacturer 1 yr warranty, so it’s hardly an issue. After my coffee, ill turn if off at the bottom and leave it on the counter in case any water was near the bottom charging area before i put it on the charger. Great mug, highly recommended.

It keeps a great charge and she never has to worry about cold coffee. I don’t know who she loves more me or this cup lol! ❤️
