The Hasegawa 1/72 N1K2-J âGeorgeâ (Shidenkai) is a detailed plastic model kit representing one of Japan's most advanced land-based fighters of World War II. This 1/72 scale kit features finely engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit, realistic engine cowl, and optional underwing fuel tanks. It also includes a decal sheet with historically accurate Japanese Navy markings.

The Kawanishi N1K2-J Shidenkai, known by the Allies as âGeorge,â was a highly capable late-war fighter deployed by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Built to counter Allied aircraft like the Hellcat and Mustang, the Shidenkai combined heavy armament, speed, and maneuverability, and was flown by some of Japan's most skilled aces in the defense of the home islands.
