But when the two meet, the ground moves, not because of love, but because they're in an earthquake! Briefly combining forces to get their stories filed, the two journalists share the same fearless spirit, if not the same sense of journalistic morals. The pair falls for each other despite Mary's engagement to staid banker Hal Caldwell (Ralph Bellamy).
