[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In order to increase the flexibility of the Nintendo Switch unit I purchased this charger. It appeared to work fine for months while I had the switch charging off the dock, as I had not used the TV function of the switch. When I tried to use the TV function, the dock had a flashing green light. Further testing yielded that the Switch wouldn't charge at all, whether using this charger, the original or any other charger of this type. To make a long story short, it appears that this charger fried my Switch's charging port. I would recommend anyone seeking an additional charger for their Switch buy the official one, given that it is a safer option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this power pack because I needed to be able to charge my Switch while playing in tabletop mode because I don't always have access to a TV. It's does a great job at keeping my switch charged while playing at low percentages. It even charges it beyond what's being used by my games when plugged in. I have the original Nintendo Switch, and the heaviest game I play with this charger is Splatoon 2. I have not used this power pack outside my house or in my car yet. I don't use this charger to charge my Switch when not in use, but if someone did I believe it should fully charge the original Switch in a few hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely recommend this kit if you plan on traveling for a while and intend to play on your Nintendo Switch. The cord can plug into any USB output, which let me charge my Switch via Battery pack. This was an impulse buy before a road trip and was so worth the price as it was on sale when I bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Returned. I was looking for something to charge the Switch while in the car while my son plays, but this is not it. It charges fine but not while playing. My son was playing Kirby and battery slowy drained even while plugged in. Got myself a dedicated usb-C to usb-C car plug and cable with higher watts (18w if u want better performance) and it now chargers alot quicker just like the dock charger. Be careful with usb A to usb C cables as they can damage the Switch, they need 56k ohm resister in them as stated by nintnedo, its not an issue with usb-C to usb-C cables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to find any usb-c chargers for this price, let alone with a decent length usb-c cable and a lighter adapter. Any of these can be used for any charging need - not just the Switch. One thing to consider is that the lighter adapter is round and interferes a tiny bit with the use of a portable switch carrying case. When put in The upper portion of the case- with the console, I have to make sure it’s not putting pressure on the joy sticks when you zip up the case. Minor for the added convenience and portability.

I honestly was just too lazy to keep unplugging the charger from my dock because I'd have to move my whole tv stand to reach it so I gave in and bought this. I already ha a Nintendo brand car charger from a previous road trip, but I wanted one that wasn't just a wall charger only so I got this one! Like I said, so convenient to have when I'm going to other people's houses and need to charge my Switch. It fits perfectly in my Switch case too so it's not a hassle to carry around either.

Highly recommend getting this!!! Its helpful. Apple support is helpful and honest and patient but most of all Cherish and value thru customers satisfaction and are all professional for sure!!! Charger is powerful and really does work and keep things charged all day and actually for a few days only take 17-27mins to go from no battery to 100 % full charge that will last a few days!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed an extra adapter for my switch, saw this one, looked at the box which said it was for charging the switch and on the back says for in home use. So I assumed it would be good for charging and using with the dock since you know, home use would include using the dock. Of course I plug it in to the dock and my switch gives me an error that the adapter is insufficient. What really annoyed me is that as I was packing it back up the instruction booklet was open and inside on the first page it said not for use with the Nintendo dock. Why would you put that inside the instruction manual and not on the outside of the box, I mean really, you have stuff written on the box and you don’t think to include this on the box since it seems important as it’s written in bold and marked as important in the manual? Get your act together
