[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up was a bit of a challenge. Have a heavy monitor and cpu unit that had to be relocated to another level then connected via Ethernet. Almost thought it wasn’t compatible. Took about 2 hours for it to be updated or activated. Once activation was complete I returned the computer to its original spot and it worked. I like that it’s tiny. I purchased two others that had antennas and length was the size of a Kit Kat and it didn’t last long. I trust the brand I know it will last for years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I my name is determined! And, I am always one to try my hand at doing my own problem solving no matter what it is! But, after trying for hours, days, weeks and months to get my laptops wifi working... to no avail, I finally gave up and I had my better half take it to Best Buy. They checked it out and found that it was a driver problem that was not able to be fixed. So naturally they were able to do the next best thing to fix it! Little did I think that such a tiny device would make all the difference... but it did! Thankyou to the Geek Squad for coming to my rescue!!! TY also to Netgear!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WiFi is constantly dipping in speed like every 10 seconds, never had this issue with a wired connection, on my phone, laptop or ps5 so it’s definitely the card. I pay for 100mbs but only get 65 on the pc and my router is across a doorway. The only good thing I can say about it is that it works, but for anything past basic function like gaming, streaming, etc. go for something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with this. The internal wifi card in my laptop died and, therefore, I had no ability to connect to the internet. The laptop also does not have a CD drive... This dongle is NOT plug and play - plugging it into the port, even with a reboot, did nothing. The unit comes with an install CD, which I couldn't use - but the instructions also had the website to download the executable install program. I used another laptop to download the program onto a thumb drive, and then inserted that into the intended laptop; unzipped the file and ran the .exe program. Then I inserted the netgear dongle and it was instantly recongnized. Works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to upgrade my wife's laptop from 802.11n to 802.11ac (WIFI 5). Works well and small size means she can just leave it in the USB port all the time. An adapter with a larger antenna might provide more range, but it would be more awkward to have sticking out of the laptop. Small blue LED on device shows when data is being transferred. Easy to install, but if you're updating a computer with a built adapter you need to disable the old adapter (Netgear's instructions do no include this step). In Windows 10 go to Network Settings, bring up the page that shows the adapters. Right click on the old adapter and choose Disable.

My laptop was having an issue connecting to WiFi so I was instructed to get an USB Adapter. In order to use this particular adapter you have to download the software from the website - which is hard to do if you do not have internet connection... In the end I had to use the Mobile Hotspot from my phone to connect my laptop to the internet and then was able to get install software to be able to use the Adapter. I guess some adapters come with the software installed already and once you plug into laptop it installs automatically - so just be aware that this is not the case with this specific one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old laptop wifi adapter has not been working for many years and I had to resort to using an ethernet cable to connect to a router to surf the internet. However, this usb netgear network adapter was easy to setup to connect to our Eero from Hawaiian Telcom at speeds of about 450 Mbps to 600 Mbps upload and download speed far from the router via wifi. The A6150 has up to Gigabit ethernet connections without the cable. Therefore, it is great to have as an alternative to the ethernet cable or if your wifi hardware on your laptop is not functioning. Amazing speed and small package so not as noticeable when plugged in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This NETGEAR - Dual-Band Wireless-AC USB Network Adapter was easy to set up and worked perfectly after following the instructions provided. It didn't advertise as acceptable for Windows 11, but I gave it a shot and had no problems. I like the compact size with interior antennae. So far I'm not detecting any difference with the signal from my previous on-board network adapter.
