[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my controller's been drifting for a loooong time, and, after trying to use a pro controller instead, i realized it just wasn't the same, playing off of handheld, so i decided to bite the bullet, buy this one and send the funked one to mr. nintendo himself. luckily, i found no drifting on this one, and it worked great--then i got my old drifty one back about a couple weeks later. i'm not saying this product was a bad buy, i'm just saying these joycons as a whole are so messed up that they decided, hey, let's just make wasteful spares instead of fix our actual technology. so yeah. nintendo bros... we lost...

I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact I had to buy this because of the drift in the grey versions that came with our system and the kids needed something to use while those get repaired. It will be nice to have four joy-cons to use once the grey come back to us. As far as the general design, it's great for smaller hands, and I can make it work just fine. I generally use the controller dock if playing a one-player game. Great color, but I think Nintendo should have reduced their price on these given all of the drifting problems that they haven't remedied.

I wish the little wrist lanyard connected somewhere else on the Joycon. That's about the only thing I would change. I've had a hard time ordering stuff from best buy in the past and have gotten subpar products, but they did a good job sending what's advertised this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s definitely a Left Switch Controller. And it is 100% the color shown here. Mine was drifting during Metroid, it was driving me nuts, I went out with 5 minutes left before the store closed and this was the only one available. A shimmer of light shined down on it, and I rushed home to unpause Metroid. Today Was A Good Day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During the Christmas shopping time, the Switch controllers sold out, so we bought two single controllers as a gift. These are the Nintendo brand, brightly colored, fully functioning like the controllers that came with the Switch. They came with the single controller bar needed to use these without the Switch screen. We have used these interchangeably with our game system. With extra controllers, more people can play, or you can have two separate two handed controllers. We enjoy having extras for friends or family and we also have a couple of games that require two handed controllers for two people to play the game. I prefer to buy non name brands but when it comes to controllers I want everyone to have equal control and I don’t want to worry someone has a disadvantage due to cheap controllers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be 5 stars if the potential for “drifting” was not still present. Fortunately, they sell them in single packs like this instead of having to purchase the double pack for left and right. My original JoyCon unfortunately got the “drift” and characters on screen kept running upwards on their own. It was from 2017 so it lasted about 4 years before getting the drift problem. Not too bad. Glad this was available and I was able to pick this up. Back in the game!
