    Not so great

    Reviewed by MV - December 5, 2012

The smaller size is great compared to the corded version however it does not get hot enough and my clothes are left with folds. I've used the corded version for years and got amazing results. I also find that having to place the iron back into its dock every time I put it down is a bit annoying. Sometimes I miss the dock and it makes a clanking sound every time. It cools down fairly quickly and must be placed in the dock to reheat. Also, unlike the corded version, I could not do vertical steaming (on things like curtains or clothes on a hanger). There was little steam that came out and it leaked. The "wireless" feature is not really a feature since the dock must be kept close for constant reheating.

    great product!

    Reviewed by Margaret - March 30, 2016

I'm a quilter and find this iron to be a wonderful addition to my sewing room. It's lightweight and easy to use. It heats up quickly and I find it stays hot enough to press several pieces at once. I really like the short narrow nose on it for pressing small seams. A BIG plus is that the water tank comes off to be filled...no more spitting. There is only one negative thing, and it's my doing not the iron's - I sometimes forget and try to stand it up on the ironing board and of course it falls over because it needs to be on its base. I'm not one for recommending products because every person is unique and the way each person uses a product is different, but I would definitely recommend this iron. I have read that it doesn't get hot enough. I don't iron clothes but it definitely is hot enough to press my fabrics and seams.

    Unique design Quilters Dream

    Reviewed by Joy - April 8, 2016

I bought two of these irons to use when I quilt it can be taken with me to retreats etc. The second Iron was for my sister who is an avid quilter and she loves it . While you do need to place the iron on the stand more often to reheat it is great for quilters as you need the precision when preparing the material works while for this purpose.

    Disappointing

    Reviewed by Quilter - January 28, 2024

I loved this iron to start....I am a quilter and it worked well, but the cord would not retract after 2nd time I used it. I returned that iron, then the 2nd one stopped working after 2 weeks, and that cord would not retract either. I followed instructions and did not pull out the cord more than 6"! How does one plug the base in if the cord cannot come out of the base? The iron itself while it worked heated up nicely and I did like using it....too bad it stopped working....disappointing.

    Leaks after 6 mos

    Reviewed by - November 9, 2024

I bought one several years ago and in about 6 mos it started leaking. I continued to us just as a dry iron. Then I discovered I could purchase a replacement part for the reservoir which I did. About 6 mos later, that is now leaking. Is it because I never un plug it?
