My wife got me this bag for our 30th anniversary 3 weeks ago. It looks terrific and I love it. Today, while crossing the street in the crosswalk, I was hit by a car. It missed me but hit my bag which had my laptop and iPad in it. When I, fearing to look, checked the condition of my computer, all was well! And as you can see in the photos, there’s not a mark on the bag. Had I been 6” back of where I was standing, I’d have had a fractured or broken leg. So the bag is great, protected my electronics, and still looks wonderful after being hit by a car. Thank you, Samsonite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered my 63 year-old dad this bag in cognac for Father's Day, and he loves it. His old flapover only had a long, leather strap that was thin from being stretched out due to the weight of his stuff, and it was hurting his shoulder to carry around. This one comes with a padded shoulder strap and a handle, so it's much more versatile and comfortable. He also likes that he can put it on the rails of his luggage for travel, and how all the pockets keep his work belongings much more organized. It's soft but study, and looks nice and classy, but not to the point where it appears outdated. Perfect!

The perfect briefcase - has everything I was looking for - I have tried several briefcases over the past couple of years (including 2 from samsonite) and ended up returning them all for one reason or another. This bag is perfect - Plenty of room for accessories, can fit my laptop as well as an ipad, a well balanced center handle as well as a shoulder strap, and a strap to attached to the handle of a carry on when I travel. Good quality leather and nice coloring. Have already received unsolicited compliments on the bag. Good Job Samsonite

It was a gift to my dad, he thought it was a little big so he wanted to exchange it for the smaller one. The woman at the store was so rude to him, also towards me, she said they don’t take returns even when they have the exact same bag in the store, and the one he wanted as well. She said her manager is the only one who can take returns. Absolutely useless.

Excellent magnetic closure flaps, single top handle (dont care for the look of double top handles, and high quality shoulder strap connections to bag (proper swivel clips, so no pinching together of a fabric loop). #sweepstakes

I'm hopeful that this one can withstand being overstuffed for more than a year. If it does, I'll be ordering another when it time for a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well constructed quality item, can hold medium sized laptop and large iPad. Robust and unlikely to come apart. Leather is good quality. Just a little smaller than I expected, so looks more like a bag than folio, I’ll still use it though.

This is classy, but I preferred my old bag's more numetous & varied pockets (including one for a water bottle), some of which had see-through mesh covers, & its secure snaps, which held more reliably than this bag's magnets.
