What customers are saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this indoor cycling bike for its exceptional quiet operation, smooth pedaling, and seamless app compatibility with popular fitness platforms, delivering a premium home workout experience at a fraction of competing costs. The sturdy, well-constructed frame and straightforward assembly process earn consistent approval. Most reviewers highlight the near-silent ride and reliable performance as standout features. A few customers note the stock seat feels uncomfortable for extended sessions and mention water bottle holders can interfere with standing pedaling. Several report occasional clicking from pedals, though these minor issues barely diminish the overwhelmingly positive reception.

Great bike and free JRNY app for a year.

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 30, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this bike so far. It was easy to setup and the JRNY app is free for a year. I mirror my iPad to the big tv and enjoy a good workout. So far so good and I got it on sale and price matched went it was decreased and got refunded. I don't really use the built in display since I use the app but it would be sufficient. The heart rate arm strap works good also. using the JRNY app it won't allow you to use the Apple Watch as the heart rate monitor but it still syncs to apple health and workouts. Great purchase.

    Great addition to home gym!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 3, 2020

The wait is over! My Schwinn IC4 was delivered and I couldn't be happier. Love the design, the colors, and the overall ease of use. I've been using my phone to stream videos from the internet and it has been great. I'm 220lbs and there is no shaking, knocking, or wobbling. I am going to put some mats under it because I'm on a floor that has a few imperfections, but otherwise I love this machine. My spouse complained about their not being enough tension, but you have to use the monitor to see your RPM versus your target level. Once I cranked it up for her, she felt it! She is also a big fan of the weights. One other thing, the water bottle placement is good too. I can stand or sit without my knees hitting them. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. We're already using it a lot!

    I like this thing...A LOT!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - July 30, 2021

I researched fitness bikes for several days before pulling the trigger and purchasing the Schwinn IC4. The main review scare I kept seeing on EVERY exercise bike out there is that people would be riding and the pedals would fall off and be stripped out to the point they were unusable. I suspect in most cases this was user assembly error, but who knows. More on this in a second :p Assembly: I assembled it in maybe 30 minutes using the provided instructions. All tools were provided. Regarding the pedals, I can't see how anyone could assemble them wrong considering the toe cages are already in place, so it's clear which pedal goes where (and there's a sticker on each pedal in case the wasn't obvious enough). Again, those reviews about pedals falling off was a concern, but this bike was built well and I can't ever see that happening. The Ride: I've been using this thing daily since it was delivered a few weeks ago. Overall impression: I love it! It rides smooth. It's quiet. Changing the resistance is a snap. The heartbeat monitor that comes with it is a nice touch. It's a decent machine. I do have two gripes, but they aren't deal breakers for me...even though one is potentially dangerous. Issue 1: The seat is not very comfortable. I'm told over time you adapt, but in the meantime, I just fold up a hand towel and put it over the seat as extra cushion. Problem solved. Issue 2: To stop the 40lb flywheel, you either have to press the resistance knob (located between your knees), or slow down pedaling gradually. You cannot just stop pedaling! Being used to a normal mountain bike, this was alarming. When you get going, like stand-up-push-hard-type going, and then get winded and just try to stop, this thing takes your feet/legs unexpectedly for a ride. I can see how this could lead to injury, and I was honestly shocked by this. Once you get used to it tho, it's fine. Just be aware! Still love the bike despite that! #sweepstakes < -- this did not affect my review!

    Great bike

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - August 24, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bike! Use it with Peloton app on iPhone and it displays numerical cadence from the bike cadence meter and pulls HR data from my Apple Watch. The HR strap provided with the bike does not display in the app. Only two criticisms are: 1) I wish the cadence was numerical instead of displayed on a graph and 2) that there was a power output reading in watts (like in Peloton) As it is your power output is shown in speed (mph or kmh) and it doesn't seems to equate to real life effort. For instance my casual effort on the IC4 is about 24 mph and that is certainly not a casual effort on a road bike. #sweepstakes

    I LOVE my bike

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 2, 2020

I love my bike. I've been taking spin classes for 13 years and my first class was actually on a Schwinn. Most gyms I went to used the Schwinn brand and I always liked the feel of how they ride. I have been considering a Peloton for 1.5 yrs and never pulled the trigger. After 1.5yrs of research and comparison, I went with the Schwinn and I'm so happy I did. Honestly, people that buy Pelotons are suckers that can't calculate the total cost of ownership over the years. ($50 per mo. forever vs $12 per mo---come on.) The app on my tv, phone, or iPad it's LITERALLY the same experience. Only difference, the teacher may not say "Hey, good job", but there are like +850 people in a class, chances are you'll never get a shout out and who cares anyway. It's the same thing, I promise. Plus, Schwinn has a 10 yr warranty vs Peloton makes you renew annually with a fee. I live in a small San Francisco studio apartment and it fits perfectly. A bike with a screen takes up a ton of space.

    Great solid bike, would recommend

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 20, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great overall bike. Very stable and easy to setup bike. Easy to adjust, which the handle bars and seat had a little more back and forth adjustment. Would also be helpful to have markings on the handlebars and seat for going back and forth between different riders. The built in usb connection on the display is in a terrible location. If using it, may not be able to use the inner handle bars. The harness from the display going down to the sensor/power could use a few included zip ties or better harness management. Also if you have a large water bottle, you may end up hitting it with your knees if you are out of the saddle. #sweepstakes

    Exceptional quality for the price!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 5, 2021

I bought this bike to use as an alternative to biking outside since sometimes I am pressed for time and I have to say - considering the prices of other bikes, this is definitely a great deal and does not look or feel like any corners were cut. The one thing I noticed is that the adjustable pillar for the seat tends to squeak a bit if you raise it 1-2 notches up but if that's not needed for you then nothing to worry about. I am not a competitive athlete by any means so the other options were priced too high for what I would get out of them and I will definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a high quality bike on a budget! #sweepstakes
