Fantastic headphones for watching TV in silence! Now my wife can go to bed & not have to listen to the TV downstairs. Instructions were easy to follow, setup was simple...charge for 16 hours, plug into source & enjoy. Sound was great, some others complained about ergonomic button placement and volume increments...blah blah. No issues here, I’m thoroughly impressed with the sound quality. Bass boost - great. Simulated Surround - Good(it’ll never be like a true home theater). All in all, worth the price paid for sound quality, comfort, and the ability to go get a beer from the fridge without missing a sound!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent sound, relatively comfortable, and easy to pair with an additional headset so that two people can listen. The only con, and it's one that, based on my research, is a problem with this unit, is the occasional sound dropouts. They are brief and random, but they happen often enough to be annoying. I purchased a higher-quality audio cable, and I'm going to try and move the receiver/transmitter away from my wireless router to see if that makes a difference. I am puzzled by this problem because the lower-quality wireless headset combo I had previously never had these dropouts. I expected more from a higher-priced, higher-quality unit.

Partly because I have a slight hearing loss in one ear and I don't want to blast sound from the TV just to hear. I've tried some less expensive products from companies who we all think are leaders in this industry. While the Sennheiser RS 175 headphones are on the pricey end, I probably could have saved myself time and money in the long run if I would have started my headphone journey by picking the RS 175. I no longer have a single iota of an issue with static/interference like I did previously. The sound these produce along with no more issues with interference alone make them well worth the premium cost. I've worn these for hours and hours with no discomfort at any point of contact. Having an over the ear headphones keeps the majority of the noise contained. If you are really blasting the volume in the headphones, there will be some sound that others, not wearing headphones, can hear. As I previously mentioned, I have tried all types of headphones from a super long wired set of headphones to multiple different wireless sets and I could have saved all of that time and money if I would have selected the Sennheiser - RS 175 headphones to begin with.

We used to have the TR 126II headphones from Sennheiser and we liked it but it was getting older and the frequency was bouncing, making quite a bit of noise. So we upgraded to this model that boasts a 100m range, like our TR 126II that worked well up to that range. Unfortunately, these new headphones don't have such a range and at best it's about 40m, not more. I was able to use them in my garden that extends to almost 100m but not anymore and I'm very disappointed. Other than that, they are good headphones and in the house they are crisp and clear with a decent range, including upstairs and that's why I allocated 3 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An AMAZING set of surround sound headphones. I’ve experience high end surround sounds, sound bar ss, and headphone ss, and these are the best I’ve experienced. I use them to watch movies in the evening and not disturb my downstairs neighbors and now I prefer them over regular ss! Totally worth it if you want immersion or to not disturb someone. The cushions are soft and breathable, my ears never sweat in them. The headband is comfortable and doesn’t squeeze your head. Overall very worth the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great phones terrific sound. They're reliable and have a long run time. BUT the ear pads are way to fragile. The 3 retaining tabs that secure the pads to the earphone are plastic and break very easily. What's even worse, although Sennheiser claims to sell replacement pads it's impossible to get them!! No one carries them and the international site really can't take an order even though they appear to accept an order. Added to all the above, I bought two (2) of these so I'm really in a "fix". I guess I'll tape the pads on and when friends ask about that I'll relate the reason. It's really too bad as these could be really outstanding earphones. I guess the vaunted German quality is not all it's thought to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading other reviews about how good these were for people hard of hearing,I had to buy them to see if it really made that big of a difference. I wound say this is my best electronic purchase ever. Before I had to blast my surround sound to here what they were saying and I was still asking my wife what did he say. My wife was always saying turn it down. Now we’re both happy. The tv can stay at a low volume and with the Sennheiser headphones I can make out every word and hear background sounds I never heard before! I just wish I had purchased these a long time ago.
