The mechanics of the rower are quite good. If you just want a rower that gets the job done then this is a good one. The shortcomings are in the fit/finish and in the electronics. The assembly took some finesse due to the screw and bolt holes not all being aligned correctly, but I was able to muscle it together. Regarding the electronics, I did a direct side by side to compare the calories the rower calculates versus what the Polar app calculates. I had my heart rate monitor paired to both of them simultaneously to ensure the results were comparable. The Rower said I burned almost double the calories than what the app said.

I looked at several rowers with similar design to the Concept 2, which I had used in gyms as the preferred machine. I wanted a rower for at home family use with a basic function/monitoring display (the inclusion of a heartrate chest belt was a plus). The Stamina X AMRAP specs matched my feature checklist and was well priced in the market place on sale. The rower was easy to assemble, everything fit together nicely and the unit construction is sturdy. The rower is smooth, stable and quiet to use. The top end resistance may be less than the Concept 2, but not really an issue for general fitness purposes. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

We are converting one room in our home to a home gym. This rowing machine is equal to any commercial machine I have used in a gym. Smooth and easy to use. Set up is a little challenging. The biggest problem is getting the pin in (correctly) that holds the two main pieces together. Even in the video the guy doesn't have it right the first time, but it is corrected later in the video. Be patient this part is a pain. After it is together you will have a great machine and be very glad you bought it. I am so impressed with Stamina products that I bought a recumbent bike, that just came in today. I am looking forward to getting it together and giving it a try.

I bought the Stamina X AMRAP rower in spring 2020. I am a triathlete and use the rowing machine when I can't swim as much as I'd like. In almost a year of regular use (about eight times a month), the Stamina X has never let me down. It delivers a great, challenging workout every time. The machine is strong and well-made. It WASN'T the easiest to put together. But it has made up for that early challenge 100 times. This is a high-quality product. Is it as good as the well-known Concept 2 ergometers? Time will tell. So far, I'm very happy I have this machine to add to my training regimen.

I had been looking at the concept 2 rower for a while, but then this deal came up and so for 400 less than the concept 2 I would give it a try. Box came, it was pretty easy to put together. Construction and look very similar to concept 2. Been working well. Thinking about retrofitting a PM5 monitor on it so I can "compete" in the concept 2 platform. Great rower for a great price. Should last a lifetime.

Awesome overall quality in comparison to other available models previously owned a 1399 and this one blows it out if the water . Warenty and great customer support as well slight recommend ation . I'd like to see a blue tooth capable monitor from u guys one day and maybe an app . Theirs a vr app i use wile rowing that accepts rowing data via Bluetooth and I'd really love to be able to use a stamina rower with it

When I first put the machine together there was a slight knocking sound coming from the fan. When I removed the fan cover I discovered a small hex nut stuck to the magnet. I couldn’t find a location for the hex nut so I assume it was picked up by the magnet during assembly at the factory? After I removed the nut the machine worked flawlessly. I use a CONCEPT 2 at the gym as part of Crossfit wod’s on a regular basis. This rower not only equals the gym’s rower but is actually a little more taxing when set at the highest fan level-where most of our Crossfit wods are done at. I’ve gone no further than 5000 meters at a time so far but overall I’ve no complaints after the initial set up. Training for crossfit wods with this rower is excellent because of the increased load over the CONCEPT 2. At the easiest fan setting I notice no difference in 500 meter times compared to the CONCEPT 2.

I have had this unit for about a week and I'm very impressed with it. I'm a collegiate strength coach and I'm used to only using the best, most durable equipment available so I was a little unsure how I would like this unit. I'm pleased to say that it has all of the features of much higher priced units and it is just as smooth as any commercial unit that I have used. It has surpassed my expectations.

Looking for that concept 2 comparable, well this is it! Quality and feel hits the mark! I have no doubt this rower will last me the years and provide me the workouts I need. I only gave 4 starts that I would have given any other model due to the computer, I’d to have liked a recall or some sort of memory so when using during a longer workout I could pick up where I left off.

I love this rower! I always wanted a Concept 2 but didn't want to spend that much money. This rower is fantastic, well made, heavy duty construction. Pretty much all of the same features as that other rower at a much better price.
