I ordered 4 of these to deploy with new PC builds, as my Dells (D15U) only have DP ports. I considered that a serious limitation, but these cables would save the day. They don't work. I tried the same cable on a Lenovo (ThinkCentre M75q Gen2) and the cable doesn't work. The one instance it did work was when I connected it to the HDMI port on a television, but then it did not transfer audio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cable. Appears sturdy and provided great video from my laptop to my monitor. Taking 1 star off for incorrect description. The description stated it was a converter. It is a cable, so not quite what I was looking for. I need to enter a conference room with an HDMI already installed and connect it to my HP laptop with only a display port.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not sure what to think. It is handy to have the HDMI to Displayport cable. My tv seemed to have a love hate relationship with it. Sometimes it was fine, 4k going well. Other times it is only 1080p. Not sure what it is. But the cables look nice, with a quality feel.

My company gave me 2 of these cables for my office setup and my PC can detect none screen thru this trash!! After wasting an hour of try & error, I went dig out several old HMDI/DP cables and everything works in second.

I get no signal from a DisplayPort on a MSI CUBI5 to HDMI1 on a Dell S2722QC. Both the monitor port and the CUBI5 port work when connected to other devices. Waste of money, especially given the price of these cables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new desktop and it did not have an HDMI port, for my Samsung Monitor. This cable was an easy fix for that issue and works great.
