The cast iron oval gratin dish retains heat and distributes it evenly, whether in the oven or placed at the centre of the dining table. The matte black enamel can be used on all heat sources, including induction hobs. It can also tolerate high oven temperatures and is therefore ideal for browning meat before making a gratin. The aroma of the meat is then locked inside, intensifying the flavour of the dish.

The oval gratin dish is made much easier to carry by two large handles. With a diameter of 32 cm and a capacity of 2.2 L, this dish can also be used for cooking larger portions.
