Amazing Wii U game
- December 6, 2014[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that this is the best Wii U/Video Games I ever played. When you finish one battle in Smash, you'll just want to keep playing. I have found the secret characters very interesting. I've played the 3DS version, but this... this is a whole new experience. If your wondering what to buy over the winter, or even for the summer, Super Smash Bros. For Wii U is the best pick for u. Plus, let me mention a new way to play which they are called Amiibo. These figures re great to level up and customize, and this game uses the Amiibo the most out of any other games. As a conclusion, Super Smash Bros. For Wii U is the best game you'll ever play.

amazing
- November 25, 2014[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the game is a lot of fun. It's super easy to pick up and play since you only have 4 buttons and four directions to worry about, bot like picking up street fighter and having to learn a thousand different button combinations to be very good at it. The game has a local 8 player mode which is insane. I don't even know where I am on the screen half the time. The graphics are beautiful and the character selection is very broad. My only complaints about the game are the organization of the menus and the difficulty of the boss battles. I haven't tried any of the new modes exclusive to this version of smash, but I wasn't a fan of smash run on the 3ds.

An amazing game with so much to do
- July 9, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super Smash Bros for Wii U is an amazing game with so much to offer. The roster is huge with over 50 characters (more being released with DLC also). There are a good amount of stages with each game being represented. New items, custom move sets, amiibo support, and so many other improvements make this one of the best in the series. The game handles very well (slower than Melee but faster than Brawl) and seems to be more balanced. The online works ok but is never as fast as a local game. This is great game that brings together all of Nintendo's beloved franchises. This fighting game is unique to all other fighting games and is great for all players.

Good, but not perfect
- May 23, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is jam packed with a huge 50+ roster and online matches to suit the hardcore and casual alike. The gameplay is faster than brawl but still a little floatier than melee. It's a middle ground between the two that's sure to at least appease the interest of all smash players. The online multiplayer does tend to have some lag whenever it is in a match with 4 players, but the 1v1 mode tends to lag less often. I'd say the game is good, but not perfect simply because the single player modes are kind of lackluster. Also, the fighting mechanics in the game tend to favor campy play styles more so it can be a bit frustrating at times.

Great game, could have change some things
- January 8, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe the starting roster was too large to start the game. They should have done what they did in the past and start with a select few characters and then have the rest of the characters unlockable. The same thing applies to the game maps. I was really hoping for more characters to be unlockable but seeing that there was only about... 5 or 6 i think? I was left a little saddened. However, in regards to the game itself. Graphics are amazing! This game should be played using HDMI and HDTV, it's a must. The one thing I love about nintendo is that when they release games, they are practically bug-free (at least as far as I know).

Great game.
- March 7, 2018[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been playing Smash Bros since the first installment on the Nintendo 64. I've played that, brawl, and now Smash 4 (this game.) This game is really fun, whether you want to play competitively or casually, it's always a great time. I say that since I myself play competitively and I've been playing since the 3ds version first came out. I would recommend if you get bored of the game, take breaks from playing or to just put on items and grab up to 7 controllers to play with some friends. The roster is huge, gameplay is fun and addicting, and the music is amazing for Nintendo fans of different series'! Overall solid package!

Good game, but not groundbreaking
- December 17, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super Smash Bros. is always a fun time with friends on a couch. The game doesn't really do too much that Brawl and Melee on the Wii and Gamecube didn't do, so if you aren't a big fan of this series I wouldn't buy a Wii U for the game. That being said, it still is a fun game for the same reasons the previous two games are fun, so if you have a Wii U I would recommend this game. There are fun stages, characters (Villager is my favorite, personally) and you can play with up to eight players! So I would recommend this game, especially if you've never played a Smash game before, but it isn't really a groundbreaking game.

Best Smash gamer so far
- January 22, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Playing this game was been amazing. I sadly never owned the classic nintendo systems, but I bought the wiiu mostly for Smash and I was not disappointed. The game is beautifully made and well designed and offers tons of content and stuff to do. Single player can do classic, and all the events, not to mention the other games. And of course multiplayer smash is great. 8-player smash is chaotic and pretty much the best thing ever. I have the Link Amibro and it's a great add-on for this game and a fun challenge to play against. I wish more gamecube adapters would be released. Playing on other controllers and the gamepad is alright, but still not the same as a GC controller.

I wake up to play this game!
- March 8, 2015[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this game! I don't think how much love I can express for this game. The artwork is fantastic, the features or this game is great, and there are many different things you can play! I play this with three other people and we tend to play this game all day and night. You can play the story mode, 8-player smash, team smash, Olympics, board game, and even play to defeat 100 smash. You also get to make your own maps to play on,your own Mii characters with their fighting powers, and you get to practice your new Mii powers on a punching bag. The maps can either be normal, your custom made, or even omega.
