[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a lot of things and the resolution is high, but it can freeze sometimes when trying to exit certain programs. The colors also add a nice touch and the calculator is easy to use. It also came scratched while in the original package. I'm not sure how it got scratched but it made it seem lower in quality. Does not seem like a durable calculator because of its thinness so the price seems kind of high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This calculator IS actually the Python version. Just be aware because it does not show the correct calculator in the pictures, the packaging, or in the description. We did not want the Python version. The rep was very nice and sent us a second one--assuring us it was NOT the Python version. It was. The third one we ordered---once again, we were assured it was the model we wanted---was actually an even older model. Best Buy: update your photos and description. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves her new Texas Instruments TI-84+ CE Graphing Calculator! It arrived on time and works perfectly. The color screen is a huge improvement, making graphs and equations much easier to see and understand. It's made math class much more enjoyable for her, and she's no longer struggling to share a calculator with her teacher. While it was a bit of an investment, it's definitely worth it to have her own, reliable calculator for school and tests. The TI-84 is a classic for a reason, and this updated CE version is fantastic. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's no great virtue to this calculator other than for standardized test taking (and occasional math classes) that do not allow the use of anything better. Capability-wise it's a retread of decades-old hardware, all that you're still charged a premium for due to the lack of easily recognized alternatives. If you don't need this due to test restrictions/familiarity, then get something else. A more advanced TI calculator if you must, or an HP calculator for that sweet, sweet RPN. Or consider whether you need a calculator in the first place, when you can load up a simple app on your phone, or have full-fledged math packages on a laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was just what my grandson needed for his class. I can’t say enough about purchasing through Best Buy. When I found out he needed one, I had my daughter send me pictures of what was required for his class. I found it on the Best Buy website, sent her a picture of it and let her know it would be delivered the next day. Which was great in itself, but it gets better. She called me and asked if I could cancel my order, I asked her why. She said it is online $30 cheaper at Walmart. I said no, I did not have to cancel my order because Best Buy would price match. This is why I am a repeat customer at Best Buy, their customer service.

I was in the store looking for something else, but suddenly remembered my two older daughters that are high school recently had a disagreement over the lone TI-83 that was handed down from their aunt. This tool is essential now-a-days. This model is suitable for ACT/SAT testing, & the first full charge to the thing has lasted well over a month so far and still showing it hasn't lost any on the battery in the top right corner. It's pretty much one of those things that every high school student should have, unless they don't want to take a math course tougher than Algebra. This Calculator is a beast of a machine!!!
