[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I won't waste your time or mine, you need this game. In fact I would classify TLOU as more of an experience than a game. It is moving, terrifying, heart wrenching, and will have you calling out of work to finish it. This game is THE reason many people picked up a Playstation. I can't believe TLOU remastered can be picked up for 19.99 now. It is the biggest no brainer in the history of the earth. Maybe I'll pick up a few more sealed copies and stick them away for a few decades because this game has staying power.

Got the original PS3 version on launch day 10 years ago as well as Part II the year it came out. Already have the Remastered PS4 version as a PS+ freebie from September 2019, but bought the physical version for a friend's birthday who's seen the HBO show but never played any of them. Hope he enjoys them on a similar level as I have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gameplay is tense, and just varied enough to make the adventure varied and work consistently well in multiplayer. The story here is the real draw though, and you should play it yourself to see why it is considered one of the greatest stories in video games. So many memorable moments to see, but please don't sleep on the surprisingly tense and addictive multiplayer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game that's been out for a while now - originally released on the PS3. This version is a nice, up-res'd version of the original, and the graphics still look pretty amazing, even today. Most gamers consider this an all-time classic, and it really is. There are few games out that that are so beautiful to look. Every time you enter a new area, you almost have to pause for a moment, just to take it all in. And, much like the Uncharted series, the story here is fantastic as well. Gameplay can be a little challenging at times because this really is more of a stealth game, than a run and gun, but once you adjust to that, it's awesome.

However, you can easily tell that it was pushing the limits of the console since it came out around tail end of PS3's lifespan. When I picked up this remastered version on the PS4, I was blown away at how good this game looked. Not to mention at 60 fps! You can set it back to a locked framerate of 30 fps if you prefer that (but why would you?). This version also includes an audio commentary with the game director and the actors who played Joel and Ellie which was great to listen to. All the dlc is included as well. At $20, this game is a gift to yourself as a gamer. Very, very highly recommended.

The price is great considering you get all the DLC content including the single player. The game itself has some of the best graphics I've seen which get improved on the strong PS4 system. The game play is diverse and enjoyable allowing the player to choose their style (ie guns blazing or stealth or both). I don't think there's been a story and plot in a video game that's been told with such wonderful performances and amazing characterization. Overall, this is a fantastic games and if you're a video game fan of any kind, this game is well worth your time and money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this game briefly on Ps3 and it was amazing, the graphics, the environment, the grittiness, everything was top notch and I immediately stopped playing the moment i heard it would be remastered for ps4. This game is SHARP. It is not something new, it is the exact same game, but the images, the lighting, the expressions are soooo much better. I am hooked on this game and even thou it is not a trully new game, anyone who liked Uncharted and Resident Evil will love it. GUARANTEED. And, It comes with the expansion pack Left Behind included which gives Ellie a human element that really draws you into the story... I LOVE IT and recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heard a lot of buzz about this particular title, and it was on sale so I picked it up for my newly purchased PS4. The game is very cinematic and detailed but, for me, the gameplay feels a little slow. Maybe I haven't invested enough time but the few hours I've committed to it so far have been semi-tedious if somewhat interesting. My guess is it gets better with progression. Perhaps it's best played with headphones on in the dark, to sort of help set the mood of the game. I recommend it as an experience but it's pacing doesn't fit with how I like to play. If I wanted to feel like I was in a movie I'd move to Hollywood, oh wait......

I can't say that the remastered is any better, since I play on a 720p TV, but I loved the game and traded in my PS3 so getting it for the PS4 was a given for me. With the remastered version however, you get the extra DLC, which I haven't played yet, so that is a bonus. If you like third person games, with beautiful graphics, and a good story, this may be the game for you. It can be gory, and upsetting at times. I loved everything about the game except the ending, which felt a little out of place when you are forced to make a predetermined choice, rather than your own choice.
