Twenty-one-year-old Russ Tamblyn portrays Tully, trying to make good in Chalmers. Wyoming. but maligned by many because of his outlaw father. After a brawl forces Tully to leave, he falls in with young toughs in nearby Black Crater. There, Tully exhibits a strength of character folks in Chalmers wouldn't expect. As the criminal stakes and Tullys need for cash grow, he must choose the path that his life will take and stand tall with the consequences. Gloria Talbott (All That Heaven Allows) plays the love interest who urges Tully to turn away from crime. Perry Lopez (Chinatown) plays the gang leader. Tamblyn, incidentally. would also star in the aforementioned High School Confidential!</p>
