Blue-Bot Programming and Community Learning

This educational bundle includes 3 Blue-Bot programmable robots to help children code, debug and plan algorithms using a compatible Bluetooth-enabled tablet or PC. The interactive Blue-Bot supports control, directional language, estimation, sequencing and programming. Its newer features include communication between Blue-Bots, up to 200 steps of program memory, and audio message recording and playback. The Blue-Bot web app offers explore and challenge modes, as well as block-based programming for learning progression.

The People Who Help Us Mat introduces community locations such as hospitals and police stations. Children can navigate Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot around the mat while learning about people who help us. The accompanying Activity Tin includes character jackets, props and activity cards to support vocabulary, creating and debugging simple programs, and practical computing and geography activities.

Seaside Exploration and Hands-On Activities

The Seaside Bee-Bot Floor Mat measures 90 × 105 cm and invites children to explore a busy seaside town. They can discover locations such as the lifeboat station, visit the pier and shop for souvenirs while practising seaside vocabulary, directional language and geography. The mat can also be combined with other Bee-Bot World mats, which are sold separately.

The Seaside Activity Tin provides accessories for use with the Seaside Bee-Bot mat. It includes 6 character jackets to transform Bee-Bot into different seaside characters, 10 cross-curricular activity cards and 20 prop pieces to place on the mat. These resources offer teachers practical ways to introduce engaging activities, support early computing and connect robot programming with themed learning.
