Bee-Bot Programming and Classroom Learning

The Bee-Bot Class Bundle introduces students to the first stages of programming. It includes 6 rechargeable Bee-Bots and 1 docking station, to teach algorithms and how simple programs are created and executed. Bee-Bot is robust and easy to use, and rechargeable power avoids disposable batteries. The Bee-Bot App uses the robot’s keypad functionality to help children practise directional language and programming through sequences of forwards, backwards, and left and right 90-degree turns. Suitable for ages 3+, Bee-Bot can be used with activity mats offered as accessories.

Lunar Missions and Construction Challenges

The 120 × 120 cm Lunar Mat invites students to program a floor robot to navigate a lunar landscape. Its durable vinyl is designed for classroom use and supports route planning, directional language, programming sequences and logical thinking. It can be used with compatible floor robots that move forward, backward and turn, or for unplugged STEM activities where children plan missions, walk routes, use tokens and explore coordinates and mapping. The free Bee-Bot Obstacle Course includes 10 wall pieces, 6 doorways and 2 arches, allowing teachers to vary activities and build progression between lessons. The free Rugged Robot Construction Site Mat adds construction-themed programming prompts, such as taking rubble to the skip or guiding a workman to the digger. Together, they support coding, mapping, problem-solving and play.
