Programming and Coding Activities

The Blue-Bot Classroom Bundle brings together programmable robots and community-based learning resources to support classroom activities. The set includes 6 Bluetooth-enabled Blue-Bot robots, a free docking station, a People Who Help Us mat, and an Our Community Activity Tin. Designed for children aged 3 years and above, Blue-Bot introduces control, directions, estimation, sequencing, programming, and coding concepts through interactive activities.

Blue-Bot connects wirelessly to a tablet or PC using Bluetooth, allowing children to program the robot and explore movement sequences. Its programming memory supports up to 200 steps, while audio recording and playback provide additional interactive functionality. Blue-Bot can also communicate with other Blue-Bots, supporting collaborative exploration and learning.

Community Exploration

The People Who Help Us mat allows children to navigate Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot around a community, exploring locations such as hospitals, police stations, and other places. It introduces community roles and provides opportunities to practise directional language and describe routes on a map. The mat also connects with three other mats to create the Bee-Bot World, which includes the Countryside, Seaside, People Who Help Us, and Transport and Industry mats. The other mats are sold separately.
