Blue-Bot Coding and Outdoor Programming

The Blue-Bot Classroom Bundle helps students code, debug and plan algorithms using a tablet or PC. Bluetooth-enabled Blue-Bot offers wireless control, 200-step memory, audio recording and playback, and communication with other Blue-Bots. Designed for ages 3+, it introduces directions, estimation, sequencing and coding. A docking station is included free.

Rugged Robot is a programmable Bluetooth robot designed for outdoor use and winner of the BETT 2020 award for best digital device. Oversized wheels handle uneven terrain, with three speed settings. It is rechargeable, stores 256 steps and has a switchable obstacle sensor. When enabled, the sensor detects obstacles and the robot reverses and rotates 45 degrees before continuing. Control it with a tablet or TTS TacTile Code Reader.

Free Mats for STEM Challenges

The free Lunar Mat measures 120 × 120 cm and is made from durable vinyl. Students can program a floor robot to navigate a lunar landscape while practising route planning, directional language and logical thinking. It also supports unplugged activities such as planning missions, walking routes, using tokens and exploring coordinates.

The free Rugged Robot Construction Site Mat adds construction-themed programming prompts, including taking rubble to the skip or guiding a workman to the digger. Together, the robots and mats support coding challenges, mapping, route planning and imaginative classroom play.
