Interactive Coding and Programming

The Blue-Bot Bluetooth Programmable Robot is an educational floor robot designed to make classroom learning engaging for children. Recommended for ages 3 and above in KS1 and KS2, it helps students explore control, directional language, estimation, sequencing, coding and programming. The newer interactive model allows Blue-Bots to communicate with one another and includes 200-step programming memory and audio message recording and playback. Using a tablet or PC, students can code, debug and plan algorithms through hands-on activities.

The Blue-Bot Web App offers different ways to develop programming skills. Explore mode helps students create algorithms, challenge mode adds complexity, and the block-based programming environment supports progression beyond directional control. A Bluetooth-enabled device is required to control the Blue-Bot floor robot.

French Language and Directional Activities

The Bee-Bot French Town Mat helps children practise directional language and counting in French while learning shop names. It encourages discussions about shopping and what can be found in different stores. Children can also create a shopping list for Bee-Bot. The mat can be used on its own for learning activities. Together, the robot and mat provide opportunities to explore programming, directions, sequencing and French language activities.
