- Great Card for me- October 5, 2021
I got mine from the recent drop on the 1st. I waited 16 hours. I upgraded to this from a 1660 Super and the difference it's clear. I could manage 1440p with the 1660 super I had and got a decent amount of frames. It would hit 60 fps every now and then but would dip as low as the 40s. With this card. I can have 1440p with RTX on and settings set to high and still get over 100 frames. 50-70 fps if I set the rendering quality to near max. depending on the game. I can play max settings. I originally wanted a 3080 for that extra ceiling of performance but there were only 6 at the store I went to and 11 regular 3070s. So the 3070ti was the next best thingYes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- 3070 TI vs 3070- August 27, 2021
Absolutely amazing, I’m going from a 2070 Super to the 3070 TI which isn’t the largest jump, but still a great upgrade! For $100 more I’m not sure a 4% jump in performance from a 3070 is worth it, however this was what was left available from the 1 day event they were having, so I walked out with a card I wanted no matter what. If you can manage to get your hand on any card I’d say it is well worth any money spent on it. One thing to remember when getting any card like this is it uses a 12 pin! The adapter for an 8pin is under the card in the packaging usually. Don’t stress about it being different than the plugs you have.Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
- 3070 TI- October 16, 2021
I traded up from a Gigabyte Vision 3070 to this FE 3070 TI and overall I am happy with the FE card. It runs a bit hotter than my Vision (Low 60's vs mid 70's) but its super quiet and doesnt cause my whole case to overheat like the MSI Ventus 3080 did for me. Its only a tiny bit faster and no RGB but I appreciate the design of the card and the quality is top notch. I wish it had more VRAM as that is the only thing holding this card back from being future proofed for several years. I game at 1440p though so I hope to get 3-4 years of use out of it while enjoying high frame rates and max fidelity. If you get a chance to buy one at MSRP go for it, dont pay scalpers $1 over cost though!Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
