This tea strainer fits well on top of any small teacup to medium to large mug. The strainer bowl measures 2.5 inches across. With handles, the diameter is 4.25 inches across, so it is recommended for cups and mugs measuring 2.5 to 4 inches in diameter at the mouth. Drip bowl diameter 2.5 inches, height 1 inch. The strainer with the drip bowl weighs 1.2 ounces.
