What customers are saying

The water flosser is generally effective at cleaning teeth and gums, with good water pressure and a convenient cordless design. However, some common issues include the lack of a battery charge indicator, small water reservoir requiring frequent refilling, and concerns about durability and battery life. Despite these drawbacks, most customers are satisfied with the product and feel it is a valuable addition to their oral hygiene routine.

    ok, but awkward

    Reviewed by grampa - December 4, 2020

although the unit works as described< I found it a bit awkward to use. The instructions say to keep the unit upright, since the water fees from the bottom, but getting the stream directed to the backs of the bottom teeth is impossible without tilting or completely inverting it. The unit is large because of the water reservoir and thus a bit awkward. In liiking at other Waterpik units, I would have been better off to spend a bit more and get one where the reservoir unit sits on the counter and has a long feed tube. These units have a smaller hand-held portion. However, if portability is required this works well. Hope this helps

    Flossing on the Go!!

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - February 15, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have braces and you’re frequently traveling, whether locally or internationally, this is the item for you. I have the stationary system and I purchased this one for when I travel, as I’m not a fan of the flossers they give you at the orthodontist. This product works very well. The only improvement needed is the size of the reservoir. It’s a bit large and I guess it has to be so you’re not refilling more than once during a session. This makes for an interesting pack. Consequently, I would try the airpik version to see if there’s difference between the two and if not I would move away from this product simply because of the size.

    Effective, But Stopped Working

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 25, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned Waterpik products, and I like them. They are effective in removing food particles from between your teeth. I was looking forward to this cordless one because the water isn't exposed (uncovered container in the regular style). Unfortunately, it recently stopped working. The light comes on, so it's charged; however, no water is coming out. I haven't had this product for a long time, and I have tried to avoid letting the water drip on it while using it. Perhaps the minerals in the water has plugged it. I will have to open it sometime to figure what is going on. I think they need to tweak the design of this product, though.

    Quality Water Flosser

    Reviewed by - September 2, 2022

I purchased the Waterpik Cordless Plus five years ago and it is still working well. Actually it is working the same as when it was purchased. It is easy to use and doesn't require much maintenance. It does a great job at removing food or other debris from between my teeth and it cleans my gums well. I noticed that I have less tartar and my dentist complimented me on how well I've been taking care of my teeth. I would recommend this to someone that is looking for a quality water flosser that lasts for years.

    Wow, Incredible Clean Teeth

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - September 23, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, let me begin by stating that I hate taking time to floss manually. I bought this water flosser after listening to my dentist for the 100th time berate me for not flossing. I couldn't be happier. This is any easy way to floss and it works incredibly well. It's very noticeable by the amount of debris that comes out after brushing and then flossing with this water flosser. That sounds horrible but you never know how much food is held between your teeth until you use this water flosser. It works perfectly. The only negative is that you have to add more water to the reservoir after just a few minutes of use...but otherwise, it's a great option to manual flossing.

Probably best for small bathroom space.

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - January 10, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first product of its kind I've ever used. After opting for this smaller design, I might now understand why others are so bulky. I'm gradually learning how to effectively use it, but it is awkward. I know I'll get better at it, but it takes patience and practice, so be ready for that. Last but not least, the on/off switch is painful to operate with my arthritic thumb. To turn it off using my less painful but more awkward hand, it either needs to run out of water first (which happens quickly), or I need to turn it so as not to spray water all over. If you have a small bathroom, I guess this is the way to go.

    Works well but poorly designed

    Reviewed by - November 21, 2020

I like the way my Waterpik works but the tank is poorly designed. The little door on the tank is very delicate and could easily break off. Mine came off; I was able to snap it back on. But if you broke the door, the Waterpik wouldn't work. And there's no way to totally drain the tank. You can shake most of the water out but a little bit always remains. They say the tank can go into the dishwasher but they way it's designed, the inside of the tank would not be washed. To prevent bacteria, I would prefer to empty the tank and let it dry out, but I'm afraid to leave the little door open overnight because it breaks off so easily. It's frustrating when a good product has obvious design flaws.

    Replacement

    Reviewed by CathieQ - November 7, 2022

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this model since the water container is small. However, it is easily and quickly refilled to complete flossing. That it is charged elsewhere is convenient for my small shared bathroom. The problem with the older model was that it was too large for the sink area in my current bathroom and the electrical connection broke inside the cord so it had to be held 'just so' to work. The only negative I find with this model is the pressure; I would prefer the max setting to be more intense. It will take a bit more time to become accustomed to this model.

Effective but messy and hard to manipulate

    Reviewed by - July 26, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works just fine but is terribly messy and hard to control. The concept is good but it is hard to manipulate the head around your mouth. the older style where there is a tub and then a small hand held wand works much better. With this one I am constantly shooting water out the side of my mouth as I try to rotate the device to reach all teeth. The pulsing action is acceptable and it does clean out debris but seems a little weaker than the old unit I had been using for many years ago that just died. I am going to have to purchase a different unit this one simply doesn't work for me.

    Waterpik - Cordless Water Flosser

    Verified BuyerReviewed by - May 23, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weaker than other products. However it gets the job done for minor things being stuck between your teeth. Would not really recommend if you need a stronger water floss.
