Showing off the new colours in the back is easy with the unique combinations, especially with the phantom pink and phantom violet designs. The haze coating on the back keeps away excess fingerprints, while the contoured camera cutout adds an extra bit of flair to the phone.
Cameras that are ready to shoot
Samsung has outfitted the Galaxy S21 with the same camera array the larger Galaxy S21+ has. It starts with the 12-megapixel wide lens flanked by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 64-megapixel telephoto lens. The 10-megapixel camera on the front benefits from many of the same features available in the rear.
There are plenty of software innovations Samsung included for the cameras to use, including Single Take 2.0 to simultaneously capture still photos and video. You can do the same thing with the front and rear cameras at once using Vlogger’s View, while Super Steady Video can help stabilize clips, and Director’s View offers additional viewpoints to work with.
Those extra features expand to the 30x Space Zoom available through the telephoto lens. Tap Zoom Lock to steady the image further for a clearer photo or video. When shooting any video in 8K resolution, you can save any frame as a still photo. And if you’re into selfies or portrait shots, Portrait mode now offers studio lighting and other extras features to give them the DSLR-style effect.
