Ground stakes intended for grass are not a substitute for an approved solution on a gym floor or hard court. Loose dirt can usually be brushed away, and cleaning should follow the material-specific directions rather than relying on harsh cleaners or abrasive tools. Netting and frames should be dry before enclosed storage to help prevent mildew, odours, and corrosion on susceptible components. Regular checks around seams, ties, clips, frame joints, and anchor points can reveal damage before the next session. Split connectors, frayed mesh, sharp edges, or bent supports deserve attention before play resumes. Moving a goal by its frame rather than dragging it by the mesh helps limit unnecessary strain, and disassembly should follow the intended sequence to protect joints.
